The Throttle/ torque response of the M113K in the SL55 was actually instant , it was just that the 5G box could be slow to change or kickdown. There was no false from that engine either, it was all real V8 noise with a hint of supercharger whine.

They were never filmed in HD (as far as I know). This was pre-HD.
