In this video, I forge a Japanese kitchen knife from old saw blades given to me. I forge a sandwich of saw blades keeping the core of the blade in 90Mcv8 steel from Thiers. The mache is a combination of deer antler, boxwood and oak that has been burnished in white vinegar. The inserts are stainless steel and VG10. I had a lot of fun making this Japanese kitchen knife, and I hope you'll enjoy watching the video as much as I did!

Dans cette vidéo je forge un couteau de cuisine Japonais avec des vieilles lames de scies que l’on m’a donné. Je forge un sandwich de lame de scie en gardant l’âme de la lame en acier 90Mcv8 de Thiers. Le mache est un assemblage avec du bois de chevreuil, du buis et du chêne passez au vinaigre blanc. Les plaquettes sont en Inox et VG10. J'ai pris un réel plaisir à fabriquer ce couteau de cuisine japonais et j'espère que vous en prendrez autant que moi en regardant la vidéo !
