Stones will break your bones but words can never hurt you. Being shy when people stare at you is normal human feeling but with more practice you’ll even become less unaware of the crowd.

I have watched a lot of CZcams videos of Blacks visiting and living in China, Japan and South Korea. I have visited Viet Nam and Cambodia. I had a really great experience in both countries. I never felt a hint of racism. It is my impression that what Blacks experience in all those countries is good except for South Korea. One person/one country at a time...we keep spreading understanding. I am inspired to travel to China!

Any general tips that you can offer for learning languages? How long did it take you to learn Chinese? I'd love to learn someday but it seems like a very daunting task. I'm having a pretty hard time with Russian, many years now and I can speak it but still not confidently

I love your videos it takes me ack to when I went to Hong Kong to visit my step daughter teaching English at the university . My mother died that year and I had to get away for thanksgiving so as a distraction I went to Hong Kong. And met my daughters mom on a date there .I looked into going to china but I didn’t have the right clothes so I went to Bali and her mom went to Borneo

I can only speak English but I had the ideal opportunity to speak Arabic as both my Father & maternal grandmother were Syrian & spoke Arabic to each other. Sadly they never taught us that language.

Sometimes, I found it very hard to understand certain people. This bro is in China and the only way for him to integrate and fully understand the Chinese people and the culture is to speak Chinese languages (Mandarin and Cantonese ). One thing I learned about the Chinese and Koreans is they like very much their cultures. Furthermore, it is a simple way to show respect. What is the point of him continuing to speak English to a minority of Chinese?As China evolves as a new superpower, the Chinese language will be very critical, especially in the domain of commerce.
