The kids are biologically Charlotte and Georges. I don’t remember them ever saying she didn’t have kids 😭. But they had 15 kids and 2 of them passed when they were young which is why they say 13 kids.

All I know for a fact is in that scene between Charlotte and George in season 1 they mentioned two of their children George and Amelia
I think the casting of her kids was perfect considering she is biracial and the king is white. That means her kids are only 25% black. Them appearing fully white or very light skinned black is highly possible. My cousin who is fully black and brown skinned has 6 children with her white husband and all her kids can white pass ( pale skin,straight blonde/light brown hair, blue eyes, etc.). She is constantly questioned about whether her kids are really hers. Genetics is weird like that.

Queen Charlotte and King George had 15 children together and 2 died in infancy. The princess who died in childbirth was her oldest sons George the 4th daughter and Charlottes granddaughter and grandchild. It gets better and worst just hang on for the ride.

Another daughter (of Charlotte and George) died in adulthood of tuberculosis, and this was mentioned in one of the Bridgerton seasons. The "modern" scenes in QC seem to be after Bridgerton season two, so there should only be 12 kids. Lady Whistledown messed up.

No she wasn't. The show's creators made her mixed-race. It's thought possible that her great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandmother may have been black, but no-one actually knows. As the 'Radio Times', the main UK TV guide says: Why does Bridgerton fictionalise Queen Charlotte as a Black Queen? Well, why not? It's a creative choice.

When Charlotte and George are at the table, the king asked about lil George, and charlotte said he wasn’t so little anymore, then he asked about Emily…so their children was mentioned in Bridgerton, just not all of them. I think it was appropriate to not put focus on their children in Bridgerton because the focus is on another family, but was appropriate for the prequel as it’s focus is Charlotte.

1) How did we make it through 2 seasons of this show and ain't seen not one of these kids?! I can barely make it through a conversation without mentioning mine.
2) I've paid very little attention to these ppl in real life so the connection was literally not there until someone said it... 😂 but a quick Google search set me straight. So yall just ignore saying these ain't her kids for the next 2 episodes. 😂😂 and someone said she wasn't a good mother... but that aint what the Google said. Just so yall know.
