Oh damn I'm really early... Also what the hell? Seriously you can't back this up to the 2023 models? What a shame.

This would be a great feature, unfortunately, once it’s installed you are obliged to enter your four digit pin every time you start your car. That would be inconvenient as it is, but the message to input your pin doesn’t show up on the entertainment screen until a few moments after you’ve put the car into drive. This turns an inconvenience into an unsafe distraction. I wound up deleting the key. A real disappointment.

After reading the applicable list of models on this video I realize that Hyundai lied to me. Oh yeah, your 2024 Tucson XRT has Digital Key for your Apple device. In their defense, EVERYTHING else says the vehicle does have it, but apparently for Samsung devices only!

Looks like I got scammed the same way.. Just bought a 2024 Ioniq, and the dealer stated that it was Iphone compatible. Whelp.. It is not.. Not till a model not even released yet (2025). I would have bought another brand had I known this deal breaker from the start, and now I'm stuck with it.

Horrible, you have to unlock the apple wallet first. Second, unlock the key in the wallet then it’s takes 3-4 seconds to detect. Then finally you can turn on the car. Useless feature. Deletes all sense of convenience.
