In this episode of the "SCRAP METAL REPLICA" I show how to forge replica of the early medieval axe. I based on the archaeological find from Ostrów Lednicki (Poland). To forge it I used wrought iron and C55 (1055) steel. - Věda a technologie
You my friend are very impressive at forge welding. So far everything i have seen you forge has been with forge welding. And to top it off you have taught me so many different welding techniques. Thank's for sharing your wisdom with us and hat's off to you godbless and merry Christmas.
Super Arbeit &ein schönes Video vielen lieben Dank 👍
Great! Your work reminds me of Rowen Taylor's historic recreations. You both have a real gift.
When I started my adventure with historical forging, Roven Taylors' videos inspired me.
@@officinaferraria You are a worthy successor since he, sadly, stopped making videos. You have filled a void for sure.
So glad I found your channel. I have always been interested in medieval axe making and you have have given me more information than I could ever have asked for. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and master skill set with us who are learning. Wishing you good luck in everything you do. Thanks again.

I was wondering why would you use wooden hammers for consolidating a bloom of iron right after pulling it out of the furnace.
It is important to have during bloom competition a hammer surface as large as possible . The same size steel hammer would weight 50 kg.
@@officinaferraria Thank you so much for the reply, awesome felling axe aswell
Czy można zamówić taki toporek? Jeśli tak to z grubsza jaki byłby całkowity koszt?
