Hi... I own a diesel bullet and since the compression ratio is higher ,my stock clutch setup slips when i kick start it. I have tried adjusting the clutch play and also adding washers to spring to increase the force but to no vain...i am planning to do this mod which might help or i might have to get stiffer clutch springs....have you come across similar issues anywhere?...and what do you suggest i do? Thank you

Hi I have installed 5 clutch plates of machismo 500 (endurance) in my std 350. It runs smooth and a slightly increase of power is there. Once i put the motorcycle on kick stand while engine running (although i never do it as it starts burning oil in old models) there is sound from clutch like it is touching the cover when you put it bend on kick stand. Although it never sounds while it is straight. Seems like it slips a bit and touches the cover but normally it doesn't. It's fine. What should be the problem?
After watching your video I searched the net and recently purchased an endurance 4 clutch plate but was surprised to receive an enfield company clutch plate(part no.597383). I am wondering are they what you were referring to or did I purchase wrong one.If I have got a wrong one,could you kindly suggest a site where I can purchase the endurance brand clutch plate?
@@ECFixeljin I opened it and found it already has 4 plates. Now if I start with inserting clutch plate as first plate and then plain plate and so on..... And finally a clutch plate and then clutch cover .... This way I can put 5 clutch plates and 4 plain plates. Would this set up work??? Ofcourse this needs a little extension in clutch push rod
Sir when I'm riding alone it give perfect power and pickup but when I ride with passenger it's performance slightly decreased what should I do for this fault?
It maybe due to two reasons. 1. Wear out clutch ( replace it with new clutch plates) 2. Faulty clutch play adjustment ( check this video:czcams.com/video/hESYNZiZqb0/video.html)
@@ECFixeljin Thank you for your response and suggestion. The 2nd point did help as the primary clutch plate was fixed the wrong way also the main issue was the kick pawl as it was broken and had to be replaced. Now the bike is fine and this also fixed one of my prolonged issue.
Hi EC fix, I tried mounting 4 plate(ENDURANCE TYPE) on a 3 plate assembly as shown.. but every time I engage clutch the 4th steel plate pops/slips out from the clutch bell....
Sir, i have 2000 model bullet, oil is leaking in heavy amount from drive shaft even changed oil seal but also its not stopping. Oil is leaking only when bike is started. Please help....
@@ECFixeljin no i have opened clutch case its coming from bearing,crankshaft changed oil seal also but also it is coming in heavy quantity while engine is started, it doesn't come when engine is off
After converting my 1983 RE from 3 plate to 4 plates..... The pickup has been drastically decreased...... So again I swapped 4 plates to 3 plates set....

For 4 plate there is not need to change. But for 5 plate you need to change clutch cover,clutch center and clutch sprocket

Check properly it may come from the gear box.
No, its from the clutch. Yeah gear does sound when it's not in full neutral. I always put in full neutral b/w 1&2.

4th plate should be inverted one
