Mr Cog Hill. I learned a memorable lesson from Sr Margaret Rose a well-loved Catholic nun from my parish who ministered to the sick and dying. When she broke her wrist, she had a hard time accepting help from people. She came to the realization that by accepting help from others, she was assisting them in carrying out God’s plan for the helpers sanctification. Although I would never wish this accident on anyone, nonetheless open you heart to all of the blessings that can come from this trial.May the God of love and mercy heal your body and strengthen your spirit. I'm a high school teacher in West Central Indiana. About 2 weeks ago we started our stay at home quarantine. I have 5 kids 7, 5, 3 and twin 8 months old. I was starting to get nervous about the world and decided it was time to become more self-reliant by gardening.

Oh Jason, I'm so sorry! My first thought, when I saw the title, was that maybe a hammer got away from you! I didn't expect such a severe accident. REST is a "healing activity", so listen to your body!! I'm sure the girls have your back and are doing a marvelous job. Praying for a speedy recovery! God bless you all :o)

Oh praying for you. Your weariness is just from dealing with the pain and trauma. Don't rush the healing and take as much time as your body needs. Hang in there, the ladies can take care of the chores. Maybe Peaches will let you practice bossing while you are convalescing. Take care and thank you for the videos. We love it.

Sorry to hear about the burn. Been there myself but it was a bad electrical burn. But you know they always said don't do that and I bet you won't again. Take heed everyone. Sometimes it isn't always that other guy who it happens to. Be safe with gas and prayers to your family. If anyone can keep the farm going Miss Cog Hill and Mary Carl can.

Oh my I dearly hope you feel better soon, I remember when my husband broke his leg and me and my daughter had to take over, I never realized how much he did for the family. Let me tell you I had a whole lot more appreciation for him after that. I'm sure your wife and daughter feel the same.

OMG!!!! I am so sorry! I will keep you in my prayers for quick healing. Please keep up with the physical therapy, my grandmother had a burn to her hand in the 1920's and while the skin healed, without the stretching of the new skin, her hand did not have the range of movement a normal hand has. My sympathies! I want to reassure you that even less than a 100% comeback is still absolutely fantastic. Big hugs to Mary Carl and your wife, they are so capable! I wish I was close enough to send you a dinner!

Omg your so lucky, sending healing prayers Dont forget to add a little roof over the automatic coop door so the rain stays off the control box ,so the sun and rain dont rot the pully rope

Homemade vanilla (made with vodka) does wonders for healing burns. My husband got a bad second degree grease burn. It began blistering immediately. We tried some remedies and homeopathics and then I remembered the vanilla. He was in a lot of pain also, but he said within a few minutes the pain was gone. It all healed up incredibly fast and there is no scarring. This isn’t meant to be medical advice, but just wanted to share.
