Does anyone remember the one where the man took a gift that he'd stolen from his neighbours garden. The girl really wasn't impressed but he was quite oblivious to it all. It cracks me up whenever I think of it, would love to see it again.

Is it normal in the UK to not set up napkins?? I was really taken aback when she called him childish for asking for a napkin, and then I noticed the other dates did not have napkins out either.

I think in England they are normally very basic cooks in previous generations and the young ones eat out or order food. In Aussia and NZ it's normal to cook and have dinners at home with roommates and friends. Also we tend to have gardens which might be a reason too.

Yeah UK doesn’t really do napkins unless you’re out eating, at home unless it’s something super messy we don’t (even then it’s kitchen paper).

That and I remember British people eat with their forks inverted. It was very concerning for me when I lived there lol

Very disappointed is that no one of those ever married or actually date more than ones, looks like just want to be on TV or get a free meal I wish someone would at least be together for while or get married

I've literally watched hundreds of Dinner Date episodes and they never get beyond 2nd date. The show 'First Dates' where they are in a restaurant for the first date seems to create more success.

Why is dinner date so underrated? Not complaining though because it’s always annoying when the sheep jump onto a trend.

@@GertrudeSidebottom Not once did I say "it's annoying when people like dinner date" which is what your comment would suggest that I said.
Let's not twist, or misinterpret anything. What I said was that "it is annoying when the 'sheep' jump onto a trend" - which would imply that it annoys me when people lack the innate ability to do something (in this case watch) because they choose to, as opposed to watching something simply because it's trending and you want to follow society's protocol and keep up.

Poor guy when a girl alludes to a guy's height...it's not something they can change but really says something about her. I mean at least a girl can loose weight.

I wouldn't be eating food cooked by a stranger.
I would want to observe the persons hygiene habits first.
Do they wash their hands before food prep and after using toilet.
