Working for money doesn't mean to compromise on your work, beliefs and value. You can write meaningful scripts and still earn money. Its the choice u have to make. And if a person is giving his time and energy to something of course they deserve money for that service they are providing.
Shiddat was a much needed drama. its 2024 and some people are still unaware of mental and emotional abuse, especially those who haven't been through it irl. the drama has some flaws like any other drama but i'm glad they touched this topic and actually giving some great lessons through it such as; childhood trauma, emotional abuse, how it is so hard for a woman to get out of a toxic marriage and also, breaking the stigma around taking therapy for mental health. The plus point is, all the actors are doing really well which makes the audience feel connected or related to the story and characters, They all are so natural and convincing as their respective characters, hence, the show is so popular. also, i liked zanjabeel's honesty, she didn't sugar coat anything and didn't try to justify any wrong but accepted it!
For me she is synonmous to Balaa Cheekh and Pyaar K Sadqey. Three of the best entertaining dramas of recent times.

Did you ask her about the regressive dialogues about having a girl? And why wasn’t there dialogues explaining how the gender of the child is from the father not mother, why wasn’t it explained?

She is not giving information to public through drama. It spoils beauty and flow of drama to tell scientific facts to viewers on purpose. Masses can be educated through political parties, molvi sahban, renowned journalists and other prominent personalities of society.
Allah has given you this talent of writing, and It comes with huge responsibilities. This writer has good drama on her list, but now she has been writing only for money.

Why would she have any problem with Ishq Murshid and Tere Bin? The male lead of IM gave her Balaa and Cheekh and with female lead of TB they gave her Pyaar K Sadqey...Three of her most famous dramas declared as such by same audience. And what exactly was wrong with IM? Its literally the most unproblematic drama ever. even PKS, Cheekh and Balaa were more problematic than IM!! Loved her answer. Rabia stop acting like an estranged ex.

I couldn’t agree more with @mariaatariq3713. I don’t mean to be crass but I lost Interest in the interview when Zanjabeel kept saying “Pendolium” and “shahbass” I would assume being a writer her diction is 100%. Didn’t feel any intellectual conversation happening. She seems to be riding the tide on content team’s shoulders.
Content team have shoulders and zanjabeel has head, that is the difference. She is open minded and able to judge best option and has ability to accept and adjust in the plot of drama. Your opinion is superficial and raw.

How wrong Zanjabeel is, we have a real life incident in our family, which destroyed two families. A very highly educated and upper middle class guy, was engaged to be married to his extremely beautiful relative, who was just 17, and then he went to our village and had a chance meeting of just a few minutes with a distant cousin, who wasn't that beautiful and came from dirt poor family and the girl was also very bold and uncouth, he didn't even talk to her directly she had come to take something from the house, he was sitting in. He fell in love with her that instant , wanted to marry that girl, but couldn't and was married to the beautiful and well off relative, whom he never even touched. So, the world always doesn't work with logic. The marriage dint work out, he couldn't marry that uncouth girl too, he was murdered eventually. That story itself is like a film, in life many things happen and we can't say for sure, that a rich guy won't fall in love with a poor girl.
She said , girls shouldn't day dream ,instead they keep busy themselves in grooming and polishing personality not beauty.
@@tahseenn5649 In reality, it matters a lot how a girl looks, at least in our society. But she made an elaborate statement how a rich guy won't marry a poor girl. Girls should educate themselves, but they should also look after themselves, and someone falling or not falling for them is pure luck, of course they can't depend on it.

Hi, I understand what you’re saying but i think they’re not blaming the padosi country for saas bahu issues but highlighting the fact that indian serials/ekta dramas made the saas bahu issues popular in the region and escalated a liking for this genre in Pakistan.
