The main reason for the less pay in India as compared to other companies is because of the front end and back end Investment banking offices, Indian offices are considered to be as backend offices offering backend Investment Banking roles as compared to the front end Investment Banking roles in other countries

No but as mentioned in the start of the video. These figures are for the front office roles in M&A and underwriting. Backend roles pay even lesser than this on the upper end.

I guess FRM. But if you’re not specifically targeting risk, CFA is also one of the best option.
Can I get placed at Goldman Sachs NYC directly from IIMs? Or do I have to work in the Indian branch first?(as an investment bankers)

Impossible to become a banker in NYC after IIM. Do not expect a transfer even after working at GS in India. (talking about IB)
