You broke a Toyota clutch...that took talent! You are incredibly tech savv!
Haha, keep watching
Really nicely documented . Sad the clutch let go , I hope you are back up and running. Btw I really love your positive attitude and patience. People like you are a joy to work with. Take care and stay safe!
Thanks for the positivity! I am glad it all worked out, and was actually quite easy.
I drag raced for years and never ever saw a clutch disc come apart like that! Toyota usually over-engineers critcal parts so that's a big surprise.
Maybe I should become one of Toyotas testers, haha
I agree....that should not happen on the oem Toyota disc. Glad you found that it was something simple and basically cheap to fix 👍
I had a catastrophic failure of a Toyota clutch in my 2nd Gen Tacoma at about 60K miles. The welds didn't break like yours, but I had 2 springs "eject" themselves from the friction plate and wedge between the plate and the flywheel.
Fortunately, the clutch in my 3rd gen with just over 100K is doing fine.
Glad you figured it out. Haven’t had to replace a clutch in a long time but doesn’t seem too bad on the Tacoma!
Thanks, All in all it wasn't to bad.
I've seen that Taco around, we must be in the same neighborhood. I've got a silver GX460 recently lifted on bronze wheels. Cool videos and nice shop setup!
Very cool! Great Set Up! Its the Wheel Every Weekend Tent that gives it away.
@@SnailTrail4x4 as Nelly said, it’s the GRILL! 😂
Congratulations to you and that clutch I never experienced that kind of damage 🇬🇺
In all my years I have never seen a broken clutch like this
Congratulations gearhead
Thanks

What side steps do you have on the truck? Thanks!
What’s that black jack you’ve got?
Your very lucky that it was just the clutch. How many miles u put on your Tacoma before the clutch broke
Mine had just over 70k
What grill do you have I like the turn signal on the grill
Tacovinyl Raptor 2.0 Grille Here is my video on it czcams.com/video/8bS8CFvX6JA/video.html
Hey, what is going on with Samantha?
Next video tomorrow
Cannot believe they don't warranty clutches, that's looks defective to me.
over 70k on the clutch my bet is it would be out of warrenty, I actually never tried. I just fixed it.
@@SnailTrail4x4 already dang dude
I cluch dropped my automatic. It was ooogly!
How did you clutch drop an auto?
got my taco a year ago -these trucks are garbage -its unbelievable they r 40k
Yeah I can't believe it broke
Had 3 2nd gen Tacoma TRD off road models, never again. Toyota quality has tanked. Currently driving my 1985 4runner SR5 5 speed.
Love those First Gen Runners, those are great
You got married? What's his name??
CLICK BATE ALERT!! Nothing has ever happened to mine. 🤔
Well arn't you lucky!
