Hard work
Hard work, dedication, never giving up when it seems like you're going to fail. Hes got the chance to become the next generational talent. It all depends on how he matures in the pros. I would like to see his first couple of fights and if he's as good as I think he will be, I would like to see him go after top tier talent and championships early on rather than 20 journeymen. If you have you have it.
Been watching him awhile he started really young and stayed dedicated , definitely gonna make a lot of noise when he turns pro
It's easier to learn young when you´re taught the right things, it becomes second nature, allows you to be more creative & grow more if you're mindful of not allowing your style to be set in stone. Obviously consistency and hard work is needed, but there is also a different drive and confidence that is advantageous if it's allowed to prosper and not consumed by the outside world.

Put him in there with some seasoned, think on their feet boxers, not, the stand in front and take shots sparring partners. Give him real experience of having to defend himself against a, "fire back" scenario so when he gets to that point in a real fight, he won't seize up and be, like, what do I do now in this heat?

That's exactly what happens when you get cocky and go into someone's gym And challenge them. Just because you're a local sparring gym rat in your hometown, doesn't mean you can go into someone else's home and try and challenge them. Especially the number one fighter in the world. Curmel gave that grown man a humble piece of pie.

Is it just me or do all great boxers have to have good feet. Distance control, angles, counter punching, timing all come from being fluid on your feet.
