Hey All !!
Here's a new video !! No a capella stuff this time...This is one of my favorite tune by the Jackson 5. I hope you like it... I used some midi tracks that I imported into Logic Pro to have (I hope) pretty decent sounds for the instruments I don't play !
I haven't put all the audio tracks in video :
There are actually 18 tracks : 3 for the lead (2 high register and the other singing an octave below), 8 for the background vocals, 1 for the bass and 6 midi tracks !
I used Logic Pro and Final Cut Express.
There is no autotune or pitch correction of any kind in this video.

Upon second listening, I have to comment that I am really impressed by several things in your arrangement: You nailed the background vocals and made them clearer than in the original. The vocal improv at the end is extremely lovely and I especially like that you ended on the b5. Your bass playing very nicely captures the funky-jazz feel that made the J5 tune so compelling in the first place and the trip you're doing with the recorders and flute is hilarious. Very, very impressive!
oh.. I miss Michael...thanks for your efforts. We can think of him in a beautiful way.

Just fabulous. Like the other videos you posted, the harmonies are just out of this world. I mean there are lots of a capella groups but you're doing ALL the voice layers and that is some piece of work. Plus your arrangments are first class! Great job! Little known fact, this song was written by Clifton Davis, an actor, songwriter and minister of "That's My Mama" and "Amen" fame. His version of this is also excellent sung of course in a baritone range rather than in falsetto.
