when i met my grandpa I've been into motorcycles since & when he passed away i told myself i will get my license & build my bike like his cause he crashed his & never fixed it up. His bike was my favorite & a few days before he passed while in hospice i would always talk to him about motorcycles & told him i was going to build my own & build it just like his was because he loved his bike.
Now im currently in the process of getting my license & building the masterpiece! So far i have the body & a few parts & have already started building it! I miss you grandpa mac, i hope you see it & love it when its finished! You're my motivation to make it the most beautiful motorcycle to ever ride on the street.

When I was a little kid in the 70s we were on a road trip through Barsto. We stopped at the McDonald’s which at the time was the world’s largest. The restaurant is literally inside a series of train cars. Some hells angels rode up. They were sunburnt, crusty, grungy, and scary. After lunch we went back to our car and happened upon a biker and his old lady who were fully going to town under the rail car. It left an impression!

You'd think enthusiasts would have another ride besides a daily driver but maybe they chose their safe dealership maintained bikes to this event. Far too many of the new and clean bikes seen in this video look the same; indicating potential buy in bulk discount deals. Police presence is heavy here and police checks can be done if they feel a custom chopped bike is unsafe, too loud, doesn't have proper tags, violates road safety guidelines etc. I don't see people in HA de-valuing traditions or old day ways when it comes to motorcycle heritage.

I've been around there and i can tell you that others who witnessed that pass thru may have a different story. they're becoming more of a business i suppose, they certainly have a reputation and word spreads fast when they are around. they are for real tho. u have to remember, they're in their "domain" if you will; and they roll along and act cool amongst others.

@@FXR_OG not for a lot of years. Doctor told me years ago that the wrong jar or bump could put me in a wheelchair. Don't work heavy equipment anymore either. Couple chipped vertebrae, along with a couple other back problems. But when I did ride I never knew a HA, or Outlaw to ride a bagger.

I just have to be careful, last time I fell, a few years ago, took me 3 weeks before I could work, doc said I chipped another vertebrae on that fall and to quit jumping off the backhoe and bulldozer. Couple years ago I went 1 and 1/2 years having to have my ole lady help me get dressed. Only been getting close to my old self the last year and I still have days that I feel like crap

I been there with the back issues, I was even stuck on pain meds the VA thought were the answer. That was tuff getting better and getting off that shit. Took a long time to feel like me again. I made it through, wasn’t easy but I never quit. Do what you gotta do and ride as much as you can. One day I’m gonna get me a used Road Glide, riding all the way to STURGIS on a bar hopper that shit ain’t gonna work. I used to give my bros shit for baggers until I borrowed my bros for a week, damn easy to get used to. Heavy, but smooth. Too fkn much money though. I’ll always be a FXR and Dyna guy but I still love the mean 80’s Shovels, that’s a man’s bike.
