Great patch note video Ray. Don't fret about video length, we aren't a bunch of A.D.D kids. The explanations were great. I loved that they changed the dynamic of the bunkers. Hard to get into, and even harder to navigate, and worth going into. They finally got the formula right. As a fresh spawn, I went to the Z1 bunker and was actually delighted that I couldn't get in. I was forced to go elsewhere to prepare for a proper infiltration. A big step in the right direction in my opinion.
I know lol(about the length of the video apologizing)....I don't know if Ray realizes, he's always rushing these videos and apologizing for their length (when they're never long to begin with), yet will start a stream, have a blank screen for 5 minutes, come on, and then ramble on for literally like an hour before starting to play the game 😂 It's very confusing.
Half of my server I own just quit and went to dayz. They don't want to deal with Brenner since he can't be killed and removed the regular bunkers for the most part. Just give owners the option to turn Brenner off!
i decided i'm probably never gonna play Scum again , i see what direction their are taking, its gonna be a DLC hell in the last end sadly.. the facts that their sell a skin pack for camouflage literally makes it pay 2 win ,
But you only play this game ? 4years . so you are always going to say good things as this is your money earner, that's why you have your name on things in this game
I agree and disagree with what I like to be fair. I can work and make money anywhere. Next time you go to work remember why you keep your mouth shut ;) I don't agree with DLC's for certain things. Pay to win DLC's definitely not. But I do have issues when someone says one thing then says another.
I love the added difficulty with the late game content. I never was good at kill boxes so having something that adds difficulty without seeming like its made for groups is a breath if fresh air. Im solo and I appreciate this.

That bunker hacking look's quite easy for one that is above avarage good at math... I would say that doing the smalles number calculation first would make it MUCH easier to do the highets number next. Since you need to have the switches on for those who turn on a calculation/equation rule for both, then you need that switch on if either out1 or out2 needs it... BUT! if there is more a switch that only do one output that could be used to replace a output calc rule, then it might get a bit more tricky hahaha... This is a really cool mechanic for hacking, and i must give the devs a HUGE CREDIT for this ❤❤
I appreciate that the weapon skins are cosmetic only, at least for now. But as a paid DLC it is one more step down towards the slippery slope of pay to win. Still a worry about the potential for loot boxes, pay to win, etc. in SCUM as you never know what the new bosses are going to make them do.

Machete and Luis are both super squishy in snow...there loud..they have no genitalia the only perks are a Machete or an ax and neither sell for a penny honestly i think with the dlc toons as I play both regularly...starting weapon is nice but also if u drop in the cold...it's a detriment the Luis toon has MUCH less cloths off rip...and that can be a obstical....I bought the dlc to support the development of the game as I do really love it
a13amp plugtop fuse won't blow if you put 13amps through it... it might blow if you put 16 amps through it, but after a while, the more over the fuse rating you put through a fuse, the quicker it will blow... and maybe the overall rating is only when all the doors open at once? so you can use a lower rated fuse, as you normally wouldn't open all the doors at once...for example, if you were to plug and turn a kettle on on everysocket in your house, you'll trip the breaker- its normally assumed you wouldn't do that...
I like the update, but they’ve just made the game way more difficult for a solo player on a vanilla style server with no bot shop. RIP my character on the server.
ok, i see a new Casual Wardog video, where he does run one of the bunkers on Raykit server nearly naked. seems you must have adv stealth and adv running and some luck.
With this new type of bunkers I just wish there'd be fewer bunkers on the map. Reduces immersion IMO to have a bunker in each sector with the same "inhabitants"
I don't really see the point in 'stacking' the ampule items. If using 2 x level 1 ampules gives you an extra half hour, why wouldn't you just keep the second and use it once the first runs out and have 2 hours of a buff? If 2 x level 1 ampules gave +2 INT for 1.5 hours, that would make more sense, providing the higher INT also worked as a multiplier for additional skill levelling rate. Reading the patch notes, I think the 500 Amps with a 400 Amp fuse isn't going to work at all, so I put that down to a typo.
In the fuse part of your video I didn’t look into it further but from the sounds of it seems like it may be a typo in the notes, like maybe they meant to just do B,D, and G?.. just a guess

I really hope that the Razor's don't change the direction in air after jumping, meaning that if you evade by moving away in time they can't just attach even if they should have missed by 1-2m
For the power fuse box... A B E are not all connected. E is connected to C, and C are connected to B and D. But B C D G are all connected. So perhaps there is something about that in that bottom paper there with the circuit schematic telling us why that is....?! The power comes from the fuse box room. And if you don't have C active, then the power is routed from the fuse room by A to D to C and from C to E. And therefor you have a larger overload... It might work if C is activated before E. SO A B C E. If E is turned on before C, then power will go from A to D to C to E?!
if u have a fuse with 500 amps and u use something that uses more power than 500 amps, for sure the fuse cant handle it. the amount of electricity running through the fuse can only be as much as the fuse can handle.

that's not really survival at that point. The fun is finding your friends and start there. Some servers might have that feature in the future with mods maybe. Who knows. Still want to see squad mates on the map.
Truth ,but you will never say it ray.. the game is going downhill fast now ,nothing being fixed on the sound side for years(zombies down the street sound like they are on your back) moving items is a nightmare ,hit boxes on items are BS and now they want us to pay for trinkets in a DLC .. Crooks the lot of them, pirate of the bay i think with the junk dlcs . No more bull from you either
If they wanted to do a new map, should do a desert biome with around 3 oasis for water and such, a river and some bases / traders. Means people would be more thirsty etc fighting for water, desert camo will be more used
@@RayKit would be perfect for seasoned players who want a challenge too where theoretically water is more valuable then gold... Could be half the size of the current map. Cars are rare and bikes are more usable. Two or three new animals like snakes and scavenger types
I notoced pistols no longer appear in holsters? Also why revamp vehicles but work on this update over the revamp rather then do one at a time and jusr replace the vehicles with the revamped ones in an update rather just remove them completely? Not complaining just unsure of the logic.
Theres a couple of bugs here and there but the biggest game breaker is the lost connection when joining a server bug they really need to fix. I get multiple people pming me on how to join mine or other servers with this issue and the troubleshoot we worked out so far is Check integrity files Update anti cheat Or Delete entire base files of game and fresh install.....
@@RayKit nope. Still get them. Maybe because the files are post 0.9 and didnt get update but a fresh instal or file integrity fix that? Although myself and my partner havent had these issues for some time, our friends seem to be having them.
Do you know if there is a way to use an item.. Ugh how do i explain this.. Lets say you have an mre in your hand.. Is there a way to not have to open the inventory and rightclick to eat.. Is there a keybind for this? Thx for great content!

Even thought the character creation is awesome after the update. I am still salty that I can't create my big chunggus fighting zombie. You can make you character fat by max strength , but still not as fat as the previous version of it. Please dev i want my big chunggus back
I legit love this game I'm a survival freak but third person is corny and the characters movement is to fast. But great game I can't wait for a first person server with more than 2 players on it
So, in the abandoned bunkers, during the day, the freaks will sleep and during the night they will guard the bunkers inside? Cause I heard during the night, the bunkers are not powered so it's easy access to get inside but with no power, no light, but I can use NVG's but everything it's opened during the night, let me know in the comments 🤗🤗
I will need to get my facts first on this. Makes sense though.. solar power outside powers lights during the day. Move silent as they're asleep. But at night.. they guard.
Is full of bugs.. 1 you can't rotate stuff in backpack or chets/car etc. 2. First of pach 9,you hear zombies and footsteps. With updates you hear only footsteps. And 3 . The pictures when you enter in the server it's too scary 😅😂

It amuses me they ruined my favourate bunkers over the last few years and kept the old bunkers that i really didnt like.... new bunkers are terrifying and incredibly difficult to solo even with a keycard. Razers knock your gun from your hands, knock you over and unless you kill them right away your gona have a bad time.... if theres 2 and they coner you then wil knock you down and keep you down till you bleed out, horrible AI
Scum is finally becoming a bit more interesting, patch after patch. Just a few more patches, and we could finally consider re-downloading this game. Personally, I'll still wait for the 1.0 version to pick up Scum again, as it's still far from being as complete as a Modded server on Dayz, like "DADVenture Namalsk," in terms of immersion, survival, and adventures. However, we must acknowledge that the developers of Scum are doing a good job.
Not sure, but i see scum as well beyond the bench mark of a modded dayz server just in the game itself. Wverything modded to make dayz hardcore is base content in scum not to mention a much better engine. 2,000 hrs in scum 1,000 in dayz.

On a modified DayZ server like DadEventure or XDC, the immersion is already much more oppressive and present, especially on maps like Namalsk or Dear Isle, with storms, blizzards, fog, and creepier nights than in SCUM. In terms of zombies, their numbers are much higher than in SCUM. The fauna is also more varied and vibrant, with boars, bears, wolves, deer, sheep, rabbits, crows, whose sounds and visuals enhance the immersion. I won't even mention vehicles in DayZ because I play on servers without vehicles; I dislike that in a survival game. At most, a motorcycle, perhaps. I've spent about 2000 hours in SCUM and almost 4000 hours in DayZ, and for me, there's no comparison. Graphically, SCUM is more beautiful, but in terms of immersion, a well-modified DayZ server with 120 slots is still far ahead of SCUM despite its aging graphics engine. PvP is much more tactical in DayZ, and the weapon selection on a modded server is also far superior to SCUM. The version 1.0 of SCUM and the opening to modding could be major changes for the game, with new maps and other immersive mechanics. Boring update, they're getting away from pvp mechanics, this more like a RPG survival now, i like this game because people have imagination to make this game more playable rather than the official game idea, and this updates are making pvp less intensive, so if i kill myself i lost intelligence, come on! really, why? what is the concept of losing intelligence?, and we will need to find a booster to boost intelligence? my point is that they need to know there is a community that love this game for the PVP and they are only focusing on the pve more and more and now the balance is on the pve side, at least they should let us MOD THE FUCKING GAME NOW!! Hey bud! I mean they did say they were making a survival game with pvp elements. Even with this patch players still happily raid and fight etc. It's a huge change from what we have known for 5 years. Thank goodness. I was scratching my head for hours over that one. Not sure about the ampoules though. Many tweaks to come right?
That amperage thing is a typo, if you go over the amperage, you'll pop it, i think they misspoke.

From what I've tested they don't do that

Devs contacted me as there was actually a misprint there in the official patch notes. I was right all along. knew it didn't add up!

Just allow new rolls to spawn at any sector to group up with friends. The only problem I have with SCUM.

Cause I heard during the night, the bunkers are not powered so it's easy access to get inside but with no power, no light, but I can use NVG's but everything it's opened during the night, let me know in the comments 🤗🤗
I will need to get my facts first on this. Makes sense though.. solar power outside powers lights during the day. Move silent as they're asleep. But at night.. they guard.

2. First of pach 9,you hear zombies and footsteps. With updates you hear only footsteps. And 3 . The pictures when you enter in the server it's too scary 😅😂

The puppets can be despawned but razors and mr.brenner cannot be despawned atm

No no, you can tell which 3 numbers (being worn). That basically gives you 6 combinations. So you're good 😉

It amuses me they ruined my favourate bunkers over the last few years and kept the old bunkers that i really didnt like.... new bunkers are terrifying and incredibly difficult to solo even with a keycard. Razers knock your gun from your hands, knock you over and unless you kill them right away your gona have a bad time.... if theres 2 and they coner you then wil knock you down and keep you down till you bleed out, horrible AI
Just make sure to have high stealth and move slow. Also thievery. For the keypads. Supressed weapons for sure also.

Scum is finally becoming a bit more interesting, patch after patch. Just a few more patches, and we could finally consider re-downloading this game. Personally, I'll still wait for the 1.0 version to pick up Scum again, as it's still far from being as complete as a Modded server on Dayz, like "DADVenture Namalsk," in terms of immersion, survival, and adventures. However, we must acknowledge that the developers of Scum are doing a good job.
Slowly surely getting there. Mods is gna blowing out the park. Hopefully new maps too.
Not sure, but i see scum as well beyond the bench mark of a modded dayz server just in the game itself. Wverything modded to make dayz hardcore is base content in scum not to mention a much better engine. 2,000 hrs in scum 1,000 in dayz.

On a modified DayZ server like DadEventure or XDC, the immersion is already much more oppressive and present, especially on maps like Namalsk or Dear Isle, with storms, blizzards, fog, and creepier nights than in SCUM. In terms of zombies, their numbers are much higher than in SCUM. The fauna is also more varied and vibrant, with boars, bears, wolves, deer, sheep, rabbits, crows, whose sounds and visuals enhance the immersion. I won't even mention vehicles in DayZ because I play on servers without vehicles; I dislike that in a survival game. At most, a motorcycle, perhaps.
I've spent about 2000 hours in SCUM and almost 4000 hours in DayZ, and for me, there's no comparison. Graphically, SCUM is more beautiful, but in terms of immersion, a well-modified DayZ server with 120 slots is still far ahead of SCUM despite its aging graphics engine. PvP is much more tactical in DayZ, and the weapon selection on a modded server is also far superior to SCUM. The version 1.0 of SCUM and the opening to modding could be major changes for the game, with new maps and other immersive mechanics.

Boring update, they're getting away from pvp mechanics, this more like a RPG survival now, i like this game because people have imagination to make this game more playable rather than the official game idea, and this updates are making pvp less intensive, so if i kill myself i lost intelligence, come on! really, why? what is the concept of losing intelligence?, and we will need to find a booster to boost intelligence? my point is that they need to know there is a community that love this game for the PVP and they are only focusing on the pve more and more and now the balance is on the pve side, at least they should let us MOD THE FUCKING GAME NOW!! I know people will love to MOD scum, have a nice day Raykit.
Hey bud! I mean they did say they were making a survival game with pvp elements. Even with this patch players still happily raid and fight etc. It's a huge change from what we have known for 5 years.
