    Quick tip Tylenol PM is Acetaminophen pain reliever and the PM will help you sleep BUT for sore stiff muscles Ibuprofen is a anti inflammatory which is better for sore and stiff muscles fun fact you can take both staggered

    Haha..."gloves are dumb"...too funny. But personally I have to agree. Mittens all day! Of note, though, my fingers may be a bit on the wimpier side and get cold easy :) Also, might consider a canister stand/stabilizer. Super lightweight and packable, and offers a lot more stability while cooking on your stove.

    Hey guys awesome video! Quick question, would the Caribou Ultralight Game Bags fit any elk quarters bone-in? Or would you recommend just bone out completely? Thanks!

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  Před 3 lety

      Bone-in could be tricky, it may not fit. Just depends on how big the elk quarter is. With using the ultralight game bags from Caribou Gear I've always boned out the elk and it works great.

    I picked up an Anker 10000 for like $20. It’s better than buying a new $40 pocket juice every year. Plus with 2 of them for the same price I think I could charge my phone, 8 complete times at the end of each day. They have some different models but I’ve never had an issue with any anker product. Might be work checking out. :)

    try using an arrow shaft for the back pole support or maybe a stick only have to bring one trekking pole!

    How late (cold) will go with the SG SkyAir tent before you switch to something sturdier?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  Před 3 lety +1

      Usually for my later season rifle hunts I will stitch over to a seek outside tent with a stove. Mid-October through November is the time frame.

    Just an FYI taking advil might make you feel less sore, but it actually inhibits your recovery so I wouldn’t suggest it to feel less sore

    • @GOHUNT

      For these longer trips, I try keeping it right around 60 lbs.

    If you don't use the trekking poles, I recommend some even lighter dedicated poles. Look at 6moon designs or other companies have poles to replace the trekking poles for tents like those. Aluminum and Carbon depending on budget, but they are still lighter than the trekking poles.

    What is the difference in hiking boots and hunting boots?

    • @GOHUNT
      @GOHUNT  Před 2 lety

      Hi Morgan. The biggest differences will be the ankle support and stiffness. Most hiking boots are shorter and lighter to just cover trail miles whereas most hunting boots are taller and stiffer to offer better support off trail. However, some hunters will still rock lightweight hikers or even trail runners on hunts. It's all about what you are looking for
