You know I like the crushing videos Silas!
Thanks and thanks for showing where the dissapearing bathtub went.
Stayin tuned! 👍🤠
Sometimes they disintegrate but that was a tough one! Thanks!
putting tires in the cars is adding weight when scarping going over the scales the scrap yard probably wouldn't like that man that's cheating weight
Some will claim "I'd buy that car", then when time to put up, it's million excuses to not. Also, many "I will fix it up someday" projects end up crushed.
You're 100% correct on both examples.
I have a couplea words for folks like that...
..."estate sale"... XD
I'm 4 days late watching this. However my late Uncle Harry had a 1949 Flathead Ford (Sanford and Son) truck. I asked him what he was going to do with the truck. His exact words were I'm going to restore it. Well restored never happened. It ended up being crushed 😭. I offered him 2000 dollars for it back in the 80's I loved that old truck.
It comes down to money. If i had the money i would of bought so many cars that had no rust or anything other then a missing engine that were in the junk yards but the other problem is money. Some junkyards think their stuff is worth a fortune and they ask wayyyyyy to much for a vehicle.
They sit outdoors too long until they aren’t worth saving. I know a couple of car hoarders who have vehicles in that condition
That thing crush's flatter than the other.... You a hard working fellow...
Funny I was thinking it was rare to see a blue GT3000, then when Silas crushed the Ford F150 on top of it, the trim came off...revealing it was red like most of them! I hope at least one of those awesome '61 Oldsmobile sedans get saved!
Jup, these Olds 88, i guess Jetstar was their name(?), look very good, even as a 4-Door, much better than a 61 Chevy imho.
Considering their not sooo bad condition, sb should take them both and make one good out of them.
I' d def would do, but as said, am from Germany.
Btw these 1970s Mercedes and older and even those from the 1980s/90s sell good for pretty high prices over here.
Silas, please check out if one of the later Model Mercedes is a 500E, before crushing!
Thank You for the longer video. Very well done too!!
The new crusher is excellent and the taller height is very noticeable. A time saver being able to put two units in at a time to crush. Don’t let the haters get to you. If they want something they can bring cash and buy it. Excellent video
Damn... really gave a new meaning to the phrase "compact car"😆
Hi Silas,
This was a surprising enjoyable video! I found it strangely relaxing. Your personality adds a lot to the enjoyment. Thank you for sharing it.
Peace my friend,
DrRick
The cast iron hot tub in the altima was pretty cool.
Left a dirty bath tub ring!😂😂
Silas, Really like seeing the 61 Olds 88s. You do see them anymore even at car shows. Thanks.
Spring cleaning at the junkyard. Also, please Silas, keep the window in the loader clean for us, sometimes our view is somewhat obscured. 😁
Your new crusher kicks ass. Good upgrade to make your business better.
I appreciate you sharing the details of your junk yard
Those 61 Oldsmobiles sure do bring back great memories. One of the best and most comfortable cars I ever owned. Wish I wasn't too old to start another referb project. LOL Hope someone buys them. Great video, and looking forward to your next adventure.
17:48 ,rubba rubba dub ,there goes the cast iron tub 🛁
Good job silas! finally a hr long vid!! love to watch cars and other stuff crushed in. Like the tub, tractors, motorcycles etc.. always making interesting videos!!
Awesome video Silas
Loving that new crusher Silas and as for the Mercedes lovers you know they are going to give you grief lol .Great video as always stay safe .
No grief, but it in Germany nobody would consider crushing a 1970s Mercedes and older, they sell for at least 1k even in really bad condition, older ones, such as those with the fins from the 60s sell for at least 2,5k over here.
And, as stated, if the W124 E- Class is a V8 Model, at best a 500E or topnotch maybe an AMG, dont crush it, i really might work sth out, sell this thing over here in Germany, could pay shipping quotes for one of these Oldsmobile 88s by selling it over here maybe. Both should fit in a
40ft container.
should be around 2,5k shipping cost, but dont know what it would trailering cost from Silas' place to a seaport where shipping is available to Europe, Netherlands or Germany!?
I mean, for a classic car guy livind abroad, its sometimes hard seeing some of them getting cut up.
But, business has to roll and flourish, so i totally understand.
Another great video Thank you Mark.
New cars crush so easy like tin cans
Or plastic bottles ... 👊😎👍
Well they now have crush zones. 😀
never a boring show
Nice Crusher!!!!
Squish excellent lol 😂
Its fun watching your skill with that loader.
14:40 ,who ,not the Daewoo, those are quite rare these days....looks like the Daewoo Leganza is now a Deadwoo Lasagna.......good crush 👍 just made my ultra rare Daewoo Leganza Black& White (prototype) pre production go up in value more 😁....the US version was pretty junky though unlike the Korean domestic models
No worries they are all trash
haha I was gonna comment the same thing. The Daewoo Leganza was the first car I purchased out of high school, got 30% off for some program they had. I had to get a vehicle salesperson license, and it looked like a 21+ age license, so I was able to buy alcohol and gamble with it. Good times with the Leganza.
@@unosturgis, I remember seeing a Lanos get rolled over on the Pennsylvania Turnpike & there was literally 300 to 400 full cans of beer 🍺 everywhere including empty cans too ,looks like one of the Penn State college kids who did that program was using it for a keger without the kegs 😆 the car was like a turtle 🐢 on its back, & probably going to a "Pineapple Express "🍍 smoke out as well as it wreaked of weed too ,we ended up towing it back to Daewoo America main office in NJ where it stayed for months until I got to get all the surviving beers out ,some good parts & then I feed it to the crusher as they wanted the whole thing dissapear, it was a big hassle for them...& a bad image
Quite possibly the worst car brand in the history of automobiles
@@mrtennessee1988 haha yeah, I sold mine as soon as the warranty was over.
I’m surprised you don’t have anyone working for you.
Help comes and goes. It’s hard work and there are tons of easy jobs available in the area for the same pay, so I don’t blame them. I have a couple guys that come out when I really need help.
Get those tires gone!
They breed mosquitoes!
Stagnant water is what they love!
the only way that car would be worth money where if it was a Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 twin turbo otherwise it's just a junkie 90s modelMitsubishi thats not worth much
Excalty
I love how the Manufaktur did paint all the Lines and Connections to on the New Crusher :D
That's a strong crusher.Keep up the good work.
Amazing - Three Deep was Easy! Thanks - Great Video.
Greetings from Maine! Thank you for sharing!
I really like your new crusher. Does It have that new car crusher smell😂😂😂.❤
It did for awhile 😆
I spent 40 years building Buicks in Flint Michigan in charge of skilled trades in the body shop putting the sheet metal together so it's weird to see them crushed
Awesome always cool stuff always thanks
Great and fun video. 👍👍👍👍
You should link up with some of these car show guys on TV and offer up some of these things
Clean them all out, Silas! Love seeing the land cleared!
Lots of action in this one, really enjoyed it Silas.
It looks to me like this machine squishes them flatter, and it has that nifty attention getting Strobe light. All and all pretty dam cool👌
Thumbs up,great new machine, look forward to see the videos
Nothing like getting to play with a brand new toy. And I find its very therapeutic.
Love the new crusher Silas, but I'm glad the 40 ford coupe and the 60 Plymouth suburban had a stay of execution. Really enjoy your channel, please keep making videos 🙂
First victim was a "Piece of Squishi" 3000GT
POS = Piece Of Squish 😂😂😂
😆
@@AdventuresMadeFromScratch what is the best way to get in contact with you about a vehicle
Made it a squish-cabob! 😅
Not the mishabishi
All that good art scrap. You sure have an eye for goodies
Crusher is excellent, you can probably do 4 car tall.
🇨🇦 I love your new crusher ! Congrats on the purchase . I did my Fit Journey exercise routine while watching. Win win
Put a kill switch on your loader
It should have a master switch
Great investment. That is what I call a spring cleaning

Great video! That crusher is awesome. Thanks for showing some of the cool finds!!
Great video!
Hard to believe nobody wants that Chevette, they were fun little cars to drive, and you sure don’t see many around . ..Awesome episode Silas , thanks !!
I drove a '76 Chevette for a Chinese restaurant back in the day. It was so slow that when you came to a corner, don't lift off the throttle and only brake if necessary. LOL!!
Good Afternoon There My Good Big Bro Silas Of Adventure Made From Scratch

Great content
Too cool
Gotta go in trouble ❤😊
great video moral time up here in ontario canada but did find any yet , crusher seems to work pretty good
Great video
The wife worked for Chrysler and brought a white on white preproduction Stealth home in 89. That thing was a rocketship for the time. I easily wound it up to 165mph. Shame to see its sister car as junkyard fodder. 👊😎👍
The new crusher looks like it’s deeper then the old one.
The gold grand marquis’s 😍😍😍
Great edit and narration Silas!
You are increasing the value of collectables, rarity raises prices.
Also repurposing is great! Let's the old live longer and generates interest in American industrial prowess.
Yeah that New machine is a beast and it makes pancakes 😂🤣
If those 1961 Oldsmobiles were Chevy Impalas, people would be coming with cash.
My uncle told me that Datsun joke 20+ years ago, I knew exactly what your buddy was talking about. I have never heard anyone else ever say it.
You are a very hard worker
Silas that was fantastic could not have been a better video I have not missed a video from the scrap yards to clean up to the vacations with your beautiful family to mushrooms hunting the school bus cabin it's always an adventure with you best part watching you push the stroller with the baby on vacation and your trip to Sacramento and Texas but the Sacramento trip you were only 10 minutes from me thank you for sharing all with us your life and your family.
Its good to see the new crusher is a success for you. Its a big investment. Awesome vid.
Love the new CRUSHER! Always a full watch from me, appreciate all your hard work and time making these videos!!✌🇨🇦
