I recently picked up a wide angle lens for mine. Informative video, thank you.
Glad it was helpful! I have noticed that when it's windy the prop arms flex and then the Props can be seen. Just looking out for that.
Blades are visible 😢
Exactly, bit disappointing, the mini 4 had a software update for wide lens, I wonder if it helped and if DJI can fix it. Or is it so wide that inevitably, at some point you'll see the blades. I did find it was only when it was pointing at strong wind. I wondered if that tells us that those little arms do flex a lot.
why not use waypoints and do a zoom that matches the flight ?
I like the idea. It's worth trying, you'd probably still need to tweak in post. Thanks for the idea, I'm going to give it a go. 😉
Wow this is old technology we used back with the phantoms and the spark before zoom on the drones was added. Who in their right mind would do this now as zoom features and lenses have been added to drones
Don't know about you but I'm not a fan of using the zoom, I can't get it smooth enough and if you zoom more than a very small amount the image just looks pants, and you don't realise until you're in post. But, I'm planning on doing exactly this using waypoints and zoom to try and get that control. We'll see hiw it goes.
@@SlipstreamCreativeAgency sounds like user error to me
Always, but digital zoom is a horrible thing to always avoid.
I won't be buying a wide angle lens for my Air 3... I don't like seeing the props and also, ND and polarizing filters cant be used. I don't see any 'fun' having prop shadows interfering in the footage. Greetings from Australia
Agreed, I found it happening when I was in strong wind only. Use with caution. 😉
