    I have not painted since my mother passed away this past year. Watching Acrylic April, I had the desire to stop at our local Michael’s after a Dr appt, and bought the Lemon yellow paint to add to my paints & some ‘Simply Simmons’ stiff brushes that I hope will masquerade as hog bristle.
    Thank you Cinnamon and John.

    @TheArtSherpa I have to tell you I just rewatched this one again, and I haven’t painted yet either. I wanted to let you know that this reminds me of the inside of a cavern, like off the ocean somewhere.
    So cool. I really love this one. Thank you so much...and to think how scared I was when you said a lot of people might not like it when you tell us what this years Acrylic Aprils theme was going to be about. Right then, I just knew you were going to say ABSTRACT....Oh my goodness, my heart dropped and I was totally bummed out; UNTIL you went through the whole 30 day agenda and explained every single paintings [how wonderful that was of you].
    That totally took at least 75% of my fear away. I have had a LOT of fun thus far and I have struggled on a couple but all in all so far I must say THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for opening up this world to me and taking away now 95% of my fear of abstract . Moreover, you should know that before your 2023 AA I saw abstract as lazy, sloppily way to put paint onto a surface, I honestly had no concept of it and found myself asking what people saw in this mess. I thought if that’s all it takes then I could be rich, but learning from you, I now understand there is emotion behind most abstract and I’ve also learn that an abstract painting is NOT EASY to create, no sir-ree!! Cinnamon, Thank you for all that you teach and hey, just because you might not teach math on your channel you do teach much more than art, like patience, exploration of one’s boundaries [stepping outside that comfort zone], training the eye to see more than what’s in front of it, kindness, generosity and so much more. Bless you & John and I really hope Ireland is good to you. Peace, Love & Joy to you both. 💞🌼🍀🌺💙💖

Your explanations are excellent and make it easy to follow. I also love how you and your husband are a team. He does a fantastic job with the camera work.

    Amazing. Reminds me so much of early science fiction book cover art and some 60-70's album covers. Love how you did the blending and also clearly demonstrated how underpainting color affects same surface color paints tonality. Great lesson. Added this lesson to my 'TO DO" list. Can't wait to try it once existing projects are completed.

    If we do a paint tutorial with you, is it legal to sell ours, or would that be considered plagiarism?

    • @TheArtSherpa
      @TheArtSherpa  Před rokem +1

      In my case, I permit the sale of my paintings in a private setting, while requiring attribution when displayed publicly, such as online. This arrangement allows for some flexibility within certain guidelines. However, if I didn't have this policy in place, copying my work without permission would be considered both plagiarism and illegal. Therefore, it's crucial to always obtain permission when you come across artwork or photography online that you'd like to reproduce, as it involves another person's intellectual property. Hope that
      helps
