Started witch last summer and I remade my UI entirely after watching your grind videos for inspiration. Remember i had a hard time chaining due to the CD and the class felt a little clunky compared to awakening. With 100% confidence i can say it helped immensely with the flow(playstyle flow) of succession, and i can't play the class without it anymore!
I knew all of those, but as you said I wish I knew about it when I was fresh with witch. Personally I am not a fan of binding TP but each to their own. Anyway, great vid J
Is this foreshadowing of my reroll to warrior? :P I would like to know your screen size/resolution and Interface Scale though, can't get a setup like that to work without the font and icons getting pixelated.
Interface scaling in bdo is always weird... I can't go anywhere below/above 100 without it being blurry. My guess is 1440p monitor, I have a 1440p ultrawide and my scaling looks about the same as his ^^ dunno though :p
Mh, and probably a few inches more diagonally, which would allow windows and icons to retain their proper look, but make them overall seem smaller compared to the whole screen. I'm only using a 24' screen, so having a 28-30' would make a big difference.
@Jaycoon, can you give me your opinion on a little question, please? Well, I'm play as Wizard succession and I have a TET BS and TET Kutum. Do you think a PEN Offin with PEN Nouver os better than TET BS + PEN Nouver? (Yes, Nouver). Love your videos, keep up the good Works :D
If your goal is to maximize PvE damage, blackstar and kutum are the choices for that. If you are looking for more damage in pvp, nouver will help you achieve that. I know a lot of people that have both a kutum and nouver and just switch whenever they are doing pve or pvp. I am an offin athiest so i don't believe in it haha, go for blackstar all the way.

For the quickslot part... Is there a way to have it not "smart"? I have a tendency to drag items/skills I dont want and drop them in the center of the screen to get rid of them(even though it doesnt usually work like that) and it keeps moving quick slots to that spot, forcing me to open up edit UI and set it in place again, really annoying... Do I have to save the UI as preset and add a hotkey for it or?
You can save a preset and also Hotkey it as well. Press ESC to open menu and search for "Quick". This should show the Quick Hotkey Settings, Then search for Preset and keybind it to something. It's always Alt + something. and that should be a quick way to reset to your preset incase you mess up anything.

unfortunately im the worst person to ask pvp questions about since I rarely do any pvp D: but what I can tell you from killing any gearlets that occasionally attack me, PEN C9 armors usually is enough to repel them. This is about 360dp.
make sure to have all the succession passives learned as well as having magical evasion maxed. then just simply press your key inputs accordingly to chain your spells. what I do is during the animation of the first spell that i'm casting, i'm already holding the key input of my second spell and repeat for the subsequent spells after to continue the chain. ie: during the animation of voltaic pulse (w+c), you already holding the key input of equilibrium break (s+c) and that will skip the first half of equilibrium break and immediatly go into the slam portion of equilibrium break. you can also chain cast after magical evasion so just hold the key input of the spell you want to chain during the animation of magical evasion. the outfit im wearing in the video is La Orzeca and you can acquire it by grinding the zones in odylitta for a chance to acquire an item called Quturans Left/Right Lung to which you can do a little questline to get the outfit box.

I know this is an older video now, and it's well done....but I have one criticism. I am a deaf person, so I need subtitles. You adding your own subtitles was very distracting, since they were just short pieces and not the entirety of what you said. It would be better to use a simple title header, quick to read, and let the subtitles do the rest. Or add your own subtitles completely. It makes it difficult to keep up without stopping the video to read you text at the same time as the subtitles are on the screen. Cheers.

How weird, I just started practicing how to use rabams without quickslots. The combos are more fluid without them being in a quickslot.

I don't get the point of having all spells on the screen. The cooldowns are good enough for me. Too much clutter with everything on the screen.
