Today we are back to my favourite flea market in Brussels, the Marolles district. It's a lovely sunny day, many vendors are setting their booths so my hopes are high! Spoiler alert: we did find A LOT of cool vintage stuff, including original art, Italian homer decor pieces, old stuffed animals, comic strips, cool antique photos and soooo much more! Since I've been treasure hunting almost the whole day, this is a part 1 and we will continue next week (so make sure to subscribe so that you don't miss any updates!). I found your videos a few weeks ago and have been watching them daily. I enjoy seeing all the beautiful and interesting vintage and antique items you show as you walk by the tables and pick up items to look at. I also enjoy going to flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores, and estate sales. I would like to travel to Europe again and visit the flea markets in the various countries throughout Europe. I traveled to Venice, Italy and Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2013. I also traveled to Florence, Italy and again to Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2015. I went to the flea market in Florence and bought a few pieces of vintage jewelry and a small brass turtle for my youngest son (my family and I have a turtle named Ali). I also went to the flea market and art market in Ljubljana that is held every Sunday, where I purchased two vintage journals, one was from the 1910s that had some writing and a few drawings, and the other had no writing (all the pages are empty. I want to use it as a sketchbook, as I am an artist); two paintings from an artist; and a few pieces of jewelry from a jewelry artist. My house is filled with many vintage items and art. Keep posting your flea market travels, they are fun to watch.

Thank you for watching and leaving this lovely comment ☺️ I love art, it's been forever a big part of my life and I enjoy finding unique original art work at the flea markets, thrift stores, anywhere really. Saving art became some sort of mission to me and only our tiny European apartment is limiting my desire for more 😄

Hi Maria, thank you for always watching ☺️ I'm going to this flea market during the weekend only, based on my personal experience, I'd say Sunday is the best day to visit it. But then again, I'm visiting it on the weekly basis and often times come back empty handed. I got really lucky on the day I was filming! 🙂
