Don’t feel you need to do “The Journey” ™️ exactly by the book. Obviously some of the stuff is very direct storytelling and you’ll love the tie-ins if you do them in order but some other tracks like this one, “Story”, “Grinding”, and “When I grow up”, don’t have a ton of hidden meanings or things linking to other tracks. TBH I’d love to see you guys do “Story” next because it’s the single greatest example of Nate’s ability to paint a picture with words. Also it has absolutely nothing to do with The Journey so the more hardcore fans won’t give you trouble for it. Keep up the good stuff! #TheyAreBothSmart lol

Love what you guys do! As far as the "Journey" goes loving that your on it. Also whoever said this song isn't really part of it is dead wrong no offense to them but once you take the "Journey" up to this point you'll go back and see so many references from NF's whole catalog including other music videos as well.
The kid at the end is featured in his song When I Grow Up. He’s one of 2 fans that we’re going to his small concerts at the beginning of his career. Basically showing his fans from the beginning are still here even without the awards.

For the record - that's the closest NF has ever gotten to cursing in a song and every fan and reactor has had that same "whoa... Nate getting a little spicy" reaction as you guys.
Re: Ren, I have seen him in reactors comments telling people to reach out to him directly and also dispute the demonization with CZcams if it ever happens. He loves reactors spreading his content but sometimes stuff gets tagged/claimed automatically. They'll let you monetize those videos if your reach out.

@@Stella-fm2bf he sent out a tweet asking people for volunteers to Be in his video. And a bunch of people submitted to it. I was one of the lucky ones that got picked. Every dressed up person you see is an NF Fan. We were his extras. It was amazing!

Whoever said this song does not fit in with the journey has not been paying much attention to "the journey" itself......it was inevitable that NF was going to come down this path

Gentlemen your in a tricky spot. NF Journey is a lot of Tracks but you can get in the key tracks before the new album drop Apr 7th (I believe). Mansion is the next one. I put NF tracks in 2 categories: story line and flex tracks. Depending on how many tracks you can get through before the big drop. I will put my short list on the Mansion reaction!

Songs about Jane was great because he was truly heartbroken by Jane and he put all that pain into the songs. After that he didn't have anything real to draw from
Exactly and after Jane Adam quickly became a pawn for the industry. It was so blatantly fake when M5 started making videos staring VS models and celebrities. Adam and James quickly became the stereotypical sell outs.
Honestly I can not blame you for doing this one from the older songs, as it dose fit well as i kind of over arching summery of the whole journey. but I would also suggest coming back to this and "Hope" as well after you have cached up as then you will be able to fully understand and appreciate the references and meaning behind the songs.

You're the first to see his arms when he's being dragged ARE shorter!! They are. That's a reference to something. I know it is!! I just can't remember what. I don't think it's a reference to his stuff, but it's soooo familiar.

the kid at the end was featured in a small bit of one of his videos. You'll have to find him, i do not know which of the videos he had featured in. NF features a lot of his fans in his music videos and brings certain people back into new videos from his old music videos he created

I think the kid is wishing he could the famous singers as they come out, but he sees NF.
I would say the thinking that these new songs are not part of the journey is incorrect. They are part of the journey as his journey through life and personal growth continues, just that this is currently at the end of the "journey" as it is now. Point in fact there is a throwback to several songs from this one. Specifically the kid at the end is in the song When I Grow Up, which is also in the journey. Anyway, great reaction!
his arm did get short, in fact, in that small clip of the video. As the guards were dragging him out of the place. I don't know what that means, it might just be for fun. well compared to his older music in the past, it might point out the fact that he is in a better state of mind in his life, more joyful, making some jokes and whatnot, but I really don't know

I don't believe that cursing is a sign of intelligence but i wouldn't say its due to a lack of vocabulary either. Sometimes if you want to convey an emotion quick, short and to the point in the company of others who may not have the same upbringing or vocabulary as yourself. I wouldn't tell my soldier who used an entire can of comet to strip a floor that it was fatuous, I would say something like "smooth move assclown" or "what the hell f-stick". Maybe I am fatuous but I think everything has its place lol. Great reaction gentlemen, hope you have an outstanding day!

I wouldn’t say this is even a detour on the journey. This would be the end of it to this point because it the newest but along the journey NF touches on his relationship with the industry and fame multiple times on different songs. You’ll notice that outcast is somewhat a more aggressive version of motto in some ways. In my opinion anyways.

He's totally independent and makes his own videos...with help obviously. I've been listening to him for about 7 years and I think he could be better than Eminem which is who he was talking about in this song when he said "I'm done waiting for my influence to calab with cause em won't for some reason.
Mansion is one you have to react to. It's in the beginning and is one of his best songs. When he got pushed down into the mansion in the song "hope" that is the mansion from the beginning.
Elvis didn't want to make cheesy movies. However that was back in the day when you signed a contract you actually fulfilled it. So he was stuck.
He is mocking the industry for telling him he has to swear to be successful. He doesn’t cuss in his songs.
In regards to cursing. Cuss words should be used like a fine wine on warranting occasions. For example, the phrase "It's a damn shame" would not be the same without the curse word. It adds a very specific flavor and punch in the delivery. The overuse of swear words makes the audience numb and they no longer get the emphasis. In my opinion, cuss up a storm when needed and refrain when not. At least that was Isaac Asimov's approach...lol.
I understand catching the new premiers. Every ody does but whoever says this isn't relevant to the journey isn't paying attention.
