Regarding the fly, here is Chinchilla’s reply to someone asking about it (can be seen in video’s comments): “I’ve had the concept of the EP 'FLYTRAP' for so long. The artwork for every single that has lead up to the EP has been taken in a white voidy space, and I wanted to create a video in that space. A prison-like but quite beautiful space... it shows entrapment. In the EP artwork I'm dressed as a fly and standing in a hand, to mirror possession and I guess a lack of freedom - it was a bit of a nod to feeling to tied down in 2022, I'd split with my management and label and I felt like my wings had been clipped. Sometimes you trap yourself too. I think for this song I wanted to mirror how personal and raw it was to me with a live performance video in that space. Also any excuse to dress as a couture fly, right?” The EP's outro is Chinny's mom giving her the analogy and it's beautiful. This is a gorgeous song from an incredible artist - the entire _Flytrap_ EP is iconic ❤‍🔥

she has explained it on her socials, it's an analogy her mother uses. The fly is free when she go in your hand, you can close the hand, trap the fly and squish the freedom out of it, and then the fly will die. Hence the album flytrap.

I absolutely adore your channel. I made you guys listen to Dave Matthews a while back so you know I’ve been listening a while and I’m about your age. I have to agree with you. I think there are times that divorce is the only answer, but there are times that people need to fight and I think people are less and less inclined to do that For marriage. I always think to myself do I think there’s anyone else in the world that’s better for me than my husband and the answer to that is no. So we argue or we compromise on the things we don’t agree about because in the end, I just wanna be with him, the rest will work itself out. Of course there are situations where I don’t blame people well honestly, I never blame people. Your life is your life and you can do with it. What you want. But I had my first child in high school out of wedlock and I hated the struggle he had, of having two homes. Anyway, off my soapbox. You guys are awesome. Have a great day. Oh No!! How can you watch and appreciate Ren and you support Trump! FFS! He's the antichrist! How can a Christian support such a fundamentally un-Christian man? For 2000 years the church has warned against the coming of the antichrist. Now he's here, you bathe his feet in oil! He is gracelss, charmless, has no sense of humour, He wants to put himself above and before the constitution! For the sake of transparency, I'm English, and trust me, the rest of the world is snorting with laughter watching this man whilst simultaneously appalled and terrified that you will vote him back again. I appreciate that this post is tldr and that Americans will struggle with detail, I offer you Nate White, an English journalist who put it better than anyone else ever has: "Someone asked “Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” A few things spring to mind: Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace - all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief. Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing - not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is - his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty. Trump is a troll. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness. There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege. And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead. There are unspoken rules to this stuff - the Queensberry rules of basic decency - and he breaks them all. He punches downwards - which a gentleman should, would, could never do - and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless - and he kicks them when they are down. So the fact that a significant minority - perhaps a third - of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that: Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are. You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man. This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W. look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws - he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God… what… have… I… created?’ If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set. Compound this with the facts that he is a convicted felon on 34 counts, a convicted sexual assailant, a defamer, a fraudulent businessman and con artist (as determined by American courts) and, despite Trump's repeated claimsto the contrary, none of these legal convictions and findings have anything to do with Joe Biden or a corrupt justice system (especially since Hunter Biden has been found criminally responsible for his actions), how do still view him as credible? To demonstrate, here's a fragment of his speech 2 days ago in Nevada: "You know, every drug dealer, every drug deale- -- and everybody here, everybody here knows people whose family was devastated by the loss of a child because of fentanyl. But if you went with the death penalty, you would have no drug problem in this country. Instant, if it was a meaningful, if it was a meaningful, not a trial that lasts 400 years. Like China, I was with President Xi. I said, "Do you have a drug problem?" He said, "No." He didn't even know what I was talking about. He's got 1.4 billion people.
