I dont like them at all. Having one of these in your team means one real DD less. Therefore less spotting, captue and arial denial.

Well despite what others think they sound op and when they moveing to console
we doubted this at first in the development blog
but when you play them in random battles, they are super powerful
And why do I see them only in the bottom half in random games?

it’s not a battleship because of its cruiser like speed and handling
it’s not a cruiser because of its destroyer like stealth and hit points
It’s not a destroyer because of its cruiser like damage and guns
So what the fuck is it? Really flipping fun to play!

Yeah, just have Z-31 be a clone of Z-39. Z-31 herself and her class as a whole had 1 twin and 3 single 15 cm guns, not 1 twin and 2 singles. Z-23 used to have the right layout but you removed that
That's not quite correct. Z-39 was a DD of the 1936 MOB A, which has more AA guns thanks to the dismantling of one turret. The 1936 Destroyers has 1 twin and 3 single guns as you said - that's correct. German Navy modified the 1936 Destroyer class several times which lead to the subclasses 1936A, 1936 MOB A, and 1936C. :)
Z 31 in game actually closer to Z 32 after modification that replace 1 gun mount for AA.
Btw It common for tech tree ships to have mismatch AA and gun configuration.
Let's be honest here... the only reason why this new line is a DD line is because they don't have a heal LUL.
I had fun in F. Schultz. Elbing seems to be more fun.
All the people complaining about the new German DDs, well now they get to taste what it's been like on the receiving end of the Smolensk papership for the past year or so. :)
Honestly, your blitz version is far more enjoyable than the PC

Supposedly they have some of the worst DPM on paper, but that's only on paper. Functionally Minotaurs lites. Nowhere near the fire rate, but...

Probably a good thing since it is that and aircraft that are the only balancing mechanics against destroyers.
They have long range guns which means you can literally smoke outside of every radar range.

Basically, the destroyer version of Petro. Guns are about equal to Hindenburg guns with improved angles on a destroyer. But it’s not Russian so it must be trash.

It is trash. Its AP dpm is average among t10 DDs and it's HE dpm is the worst by a lot

More DDs that will eat full damage BB shells... So basically small cruisers... I just don't really see the point of them. The existing German DDs could have been improved.
No dds eat full bb pens anymore. Cruiser AP on the other hand...

@@dzello elaborate? Do they not have enough armour to activate BB fuses so the shells don't overpen when fired at an angle?
@@vermas4654 Destroyers in the game cannot take full penetration damage from guns over a certain caliber. This means every single destroyer in the game takes reduced damage from every single battleship in the game. Cruisers can full penetrate a destroyer, but battleships can't. Destroyers are simply immune from full penetrations of battleships regardless of their armor.

Well I can say this, the tier 7 and 8 are a horrid experience. Dpm of a tier 1 ship at times, your only saving grace is hp. No speed Boost, slow base speed, torpedos that are impossible to hit with even at near point blank due to how they swim like slugs, and the worst smoke screen in the game.
I havent played Shultz or elbing, but if their aa is anything like the first 2, that def aa will be as useless as tits on a fish. It trade it for hydro in an instant.

elbing big like nearly BB and wtf with that BIG when no hydro ? or engine boost ? wtf why so big when inside so empty and look at the russ dd they even better with 50mm plating
They don't need hydro nor do they need engine boost. Size has no fucking link with consumables. Use your brain less, it's not your forte.
