FOR THE CHILDREN
For the children
For the children
FOR THE CHILDREN
Omg I’ve been needing this theory
Not gonna lie, I would watch WandaVision if it was just the sitcom
Same
yeah, i could totally see this working as a legit sitcom if there wasn't the deliberately off-putting part of it. which, obviously, is entirely the point--it's an affectionate parody of the likes of Bewitched with the occasional creepy bits bleeding through to let you know, even in isolation of the rest of the MCU, that something is just WRONG here
@@Emperor_Oshron it reminds me a lot of I Dream of Jeannie but edgy, I love it the way it is now AND I’d love it if it was just straight up a sitcom
I would watch DDLC if Monika didn't tamper with her classmates' data.
me too
Can we talk about the significance of “stop it”? After the third episode, when Agnes says it to Herbert, it seems like it’s really important
Y'all they're all dead. That's what Agnes didn't want Herbert to tell Vision. That Vision is in fact dead.
Same stop it as episode 1, when the boss's wife sais it, when he is choking?
@@mtop9152 that’s just a bit too obvious from the comics. Plus, the way she has been a bit clueless is another hint towards the truth.
@@rachelhansen2417 but what truth?
Did anybody else make the connection to Mrs. Heart’s religion of “stop it” when something else was going wrong in the reality. Might mean something, who knows, but I thought interesting none the less.
Did anyone notice how the commercials had subliminal parallels to the episodes in which they occurred?
Episode 1: the toaster commercial’s slogan was “forget about the past, the future is now.” In that episode they can’t remember things about their past.
Episode 2: at the end of the watch commercial, theres a ticking sound in the background that gets fast increasingly, indicating an unnaturally fast passage of time. That’s the episode when Wanda becomes pregnant all of a sudden
Interesting
Episode 3: the Hydra Soak ad (Hydra again) talks about "escaping to a world all your own." Could be hinting that this is indeed a reality that Wanda has created as a means to escape the pain of losing everyone she cared about, but also the doctor tells Vision he won't be able to go to Bermuda cause small towns are "so hard to escape".
All hydra references too.
There's a therory that couple in the commercials are Wanda & Pietro's parents. 🤔
Also commerical #4: Lagos Brand Paper Towels the tag line say to clean up the messes you didn't mean to make in reference to Wanda accidentally killing all those people in Lagos, Nigeria when she yeeted Crossbones up into the air before he killed Steve Rodgers with that suicide bomb but it went off right next to that building, this starting the Sokovia Accords(based on the Superhuman Regristration Act from the Civil War Comics)
what on earth does the yogurt add mean
wanda single handedly scared thanos so badly that he started nuking his own army. so yeah, wanda > captain marvel
Fair point, but captain marvel piledrived a SPACESHIP so...
@@claudeanello3362 thanos punched her and I was so satisfied I hope Wanda reduces her to atoms
@@getmeouttahere1209 Same I don’t like Captain Marvel which is also why I’m hoping the rumors of Rogue being the villain in Captain Marvel 2 are true.
In the comics wanda can literally change reality on a wim of a greater scale than even the reality gem only rivaled by Franklin on reality warping powers
People tend to forget how powerful Wanda is because they don't read the comics. Wanda could of have single handedly destroy Thanos but I believe she is just now getting into her powers so she is "tuned down" hard. She can manipulate matter and reality as she wants, without the stones. There is basically no limit what she can do as we know.
*"Stop it...!"*
*"Stop it...!"*
*"Stop it...!"*
She seemed to be glitching at that point...
It looked way past disbelief. 😆🤣
yeah that creeped me out
I though it looked like she was telling Wanda to "stop it". Maybe, it was both at the same time
I thought that was a reason to think it was Vision head we were seeing
It was like she was half laughing and half begging. Creepy
@@tatertot1052 then she knows that Wanda can control the reality? 🤯
Agnes is actually Agatha Harkness, Mephisto’s wife. Her husband who she keeps mentioning, but we have yet to see is Mephisto. Other than that I think you nailed it.
AGatha harkNESs=agatha also she has a necklace which in her neck in every outfit and on it there is a figure kinda like a tree witches... if she is the villain on the show she is most probably agatha rather than mephisto, also she helped wanda in the first episode for the bed time with her husband maybe encouraging her for the pregnancy?
Omw I was wondering why we don’t see Ralph 😯
OMG THATS WHY SHE LOOKED FAMILAR
That’s an amazing idea!
I love that you said this with the 100% certainly even though none of that has been confirmed in the show yet
So I suspect that Wanda is a one controlling the town. In her grief, she’s lost control of her powers and found a town that she and vision would’ve settled in if he was still alive. So she brought him back to life and is controlling the town but doesn’t realize it. And Sword is trying to stop what’s going on but they think Wanda is trapped and not the one controlling everything.
I think part of her knows, but she is choosing to ignore the truth. Anytime anyone brings up the truth she ejects them from that reality. Example, the beekeeper dude in the second episode, also Geraldine.
Oh cool. I haven’t seen episode 3 yet.
Totally I think that too
@Sam yea I suspected it when Mrs. Hart told Wanda to stop it and she took charge. J said he was laughing watching this show but I didn't really find it that funny. The stop it scene kinda scared me. Also it was really obvious when she said "no" to the beekeeper and turned back time. Wanda clearly enjoys her little life w Vision and is doing everything to keep it from wavering. The struggles they go through are the struggles they would if they were actually living there. She's living in a fantasy world. It's like another story where a detective lost all his memories after disappearing for months and there was cctv footage of him doing bad things. So his team traced where he had been so he could find out what happened and there was a video he recorded saying he'll be away for a while but he doesn't remember recording it. They found the place where the vid was recorded and turns out he met someone to get his mind erased after a traumatic experience. All of them thought a criminal did something to him causing his amnesia but it was him all along.
I think she’s made a deal with Mephisto to have all of this.
When Thanos rips the stone out his head Vision also loses his color like reverse wandavison
Wanda vision is an alternate reality

You guys missed one of the main clues: the show name itself. It isn't Wanda & Vision or Wanda and Vision, it is WandaVision as in the Vision of Wanda, or what Wanda is seeing.
also like television wandavision
This is the point that I'm personally keeping in the back of my mind. Wanda's vision, not Wanda & Vision... I think it's the correct interpretation, but we'll see!
Well its seems right tho from the new episode when agent rambo ejected
I just thought it worked on multiple levels
Nail on head !
“The guy who can run faster than bullets gets shot”
Bet you didn’t see that coming...
Technically his goal was to get in front of the bullets to save Hawkeye and the child, so perhaps he couldn't do that and evade them himself.
I guess she didn't love her brother as much as she loved Vision, otherwise she would have "brought back" Pietro, too.
@@PhilBagels ... She couldn't because she doesn't contain his consciousness.
He tried to get hit and he did so that accually good
This made me laugh out loud 🤣

Captain marvel doesn’t stand a chance against Wanda. I hate how we even have to debate about which one is more powerful. I also hate that the mcu made captain marvel look more powerful and stronger than Wanda. It’s an insult to to Wandas character. Also the space stone vs the mind stone?
YES !!!
The space stone vs the mind stone comment from Jay was based on the origin of their powers.
Wanda ---> mind stone
Danvers ---> Teserract or space stone
The almighty retcon powers of Marvel can easily make Wanda into a mutant again. Jean Grey as the Phoenix can outmatch Carol and that is a matter of fact. Wanda and her son in the comics can warp reality. I want Rogue to put her into a coma; she held her too long and her powers became permanent.
How is it an insult to Wanda?
“FOR THE CHILDREN” is a big clue
Mephisto is orchestrating it all literally for the children. (Wanda’s twins)
Yeah like making her happy then when the times comes he takes the twins
There literally weren’t any kids in wandavision 😆
And they say for the children loads
@@jaedenfeliciantpollard2111 Wanda is revealed to be pregnant in Episode 2
but didnt wanda herself made her own children by manipulating two lost souls? i mean you could be right, but in the comics, mephisto is the reason the twins disappeared not the reason they existed.
One thing I noticed about the ads is that both products sounds like a ticking bomb. The toaster had a beeping countdown and the watch ticks faster and faster.
It's just what Wanda and Vision wanted, more time.
And the toaster’s LED was red
The watch had a hydra logo on it

@@abdizur8765 Monica rambeau is in wandavision maybe we will see them fight one day the ultimate flex would be Wanda using her powers the permanently change the Brie into a new actor
After watching episode 3, this aged like a fine wine
Wanda is subconsciously controlling herself in this fantasy.
100% agree
Same
She doesnt have full control tho, she only has partial
I’d say at least partial. Like I’m betting she didn’t initially make the matrix/alternate reality deal, but I definitely think she wants to stay in it even if she knows it’s not totally real
She made the reality herself and people are trying to find out who did it to her because they don’t know.
You know, that repeated refrain of "for the children". . .I don't remember seeing any children in that town; does anyone else?
NOPE
Weird
ywah everyone is like, why dont you have kids, but there are no children besides tommy and billy
In the comics, it's Mephisto that tricks Wanda into having the children, not the other way around. And Agnes is almost definitely the Agatha Harkness character from the comics; someone who serves Mephisto in helping him orchestrate this whole thing on Wanda.
I agree!!!
I actually posted another comment that said in the second promo a long haired Agnes is asking Wanda or vision for help so she's probably not a willing servant of mephisto, but remember this is a theory so anything can happen
@@yisroelbrody7352 ikr, that keeps puzzling me. She also says to Vision “You’re one of the Avengers, are you here to help us?” as she sounds terrified. But I wonder if that’s all an act to throw us off.
I totally agree her mannerisms don’t give me devil but more devils assistant
@@yisroelbrody7352 No exactly. She's dead. So, is everyone else in the neighborhood is my theory (Besides Geraldine). Towards the end of episode 3 this seems more clear because of what Agnes says to Herbert "stop it". Vision can't know he is dead.
A few of the advertisements in the show have “hydra” in them, in the watch too
Honestly if Vision’s not even there I’m gonna be so sad
Oh man
He has to be there since there’s scenes with only him in it.

I personally think Wanda is doing this to herself
I think she is but she isn't at the same time.
At first she knew something was off, but when she rewinded time to reject the beekeeper she also rejected the real world, which is why everything turned to color. That was her rejecting the real world and accept the fake world.

When she seen the sword logo she started to remember and didn't want to go back so she rejected it which her powers.
Which could be why at
Lord Vika I just commented a similar reasoning. 😊 Wanda's too powerful to have no control in this world even if she did make a deal with a super-"devil". Maybe she cut the deal, but decided in her own mind that she's still running the show.
@@zackatk77 personally I think she doesn't remember the deal she made or remember anything out side of the town she is in right now.
Seeing the sword logo on the helicopter and beekeeper, along with hearing the guys voice on the radio was starting to bring her memories back and then she rejected it all because here she had a perfect life and didn't want to give it up.
The change from black and white to color was her fully accepting that this is her real world.

@@_helvetixa, maybe he could get that fast if he had more time to practice. Wanda got her powers at about the same time, but she wasn’t very powerful until 3 years later (from her perspective).

I feel like the show will try to shape S.W.O.R.D. as a villain trying to destroy Wanda's perfect reality and in the final episodes they will show that S.W.O.R.D. is actually trying to help Wanda escape Mephisto.
But surely SWORD must also have their motives for wanting Wanda. In the MCU, the W stands for ‘weapon’, so could they want Wanda for malicious reasons or not

It’s Agatha Harkness. She was wearing a cape and brooch, she kept on mentioning children and s*x, and also she mentions June 2 (which is the day the Salem Witch Trials began).
Edit: spelling
*SPOILER ALERT IF IM RIGHT:* I think how vision is back is because Wanda has chaos magic and reality-warping abilities so Wanda created a reality where vision is alive and because of her chaos magic and her inability to control it the multiverse is damaged therefore leading to toby maguire's spider man and Andrew Garfield's spider man accidentally coming into the MCU universe (where tom hollands spiderman is) therefore leading to the spiderman 3 movie and therefore leading to doctor strange and the multiverse of madness where doctor strange has to fix all of this. I mean Wanda was confirmed to be in doctor strange and the multiverse of madness sooo...
This is definitely a gravity falls weirdmaggedon part 2 kind of situation. I'm calling it now
heck yea dude
It's so accurate tho I haven't even thought of it like that but after episode 4 it's exactly like that
I think that she's created the reality herself do deal with the loss of Vision and the life they'll never have together, but she did it unconsciously, accidentally dragging the whole town with her. Now Sword is trying to save this town from Wanda, but is having trouble getting in.
Can you explain all the references to agatha Harkness and Memphisto and grim reaper through out the show if it was Wanda doing it to herself?
@@lordvika2526 a reality warper that powerful would draw the attention of a lot of cosmic level threats, like they said "Imagine what someone could do by controlling Wanda"
@@tetragaming6332 but that's just it untill now Wanda has never once shown to have or had reality warping powers.
She has shown mental powers, she has shown energy projection and stuff like that. Nothing was even close to reality warping.
@@lordvika2526 Wanda is supposed to have a diverse powerset because of her power's versatility.
In the comics, reality warping is one of her powers, so it's very possible that trauma and grief forced her to start Reality warping subconsciously.
In the MCU, Wanda got her starting powers from Mind stone exposure, and recently she was exposed to energy from Every Infinity stone and trauma might have tapped into Reality
@@tetragaming6332 plus her magic is red like the reality stone
Ngl when i heard the name Dottie, my little fangirl heart hoped that somehow they had gotten Dottie from Agent Carter and that HYDRA was involved...
I recognized the name as well
Okay... To be fair !!! Pietro INTENTIONALLY ran in front of those bullets to save Clint and the little boy he (Clint) was saving !!!
The writing in this show is so incredible, I love the existential dread of being trapped in a sitcom as bits of reality pop through. Honestly some of the best TV I’ve seen in a _long_ time
There were two cradles in one of the trailers. Definitely gonna be twins.
Actually the stones were reduced to atoms not out of existence.
Ooooo interesting detail! I forgot about that...
Fantastic four....
The Russo brothers confirmed that they were destroyed though, despite what Thanos said
*Gone* reduced to atoms
@@radcircles9865 nothing is ever truly destroyed. The atomic energy is just changed into different energy.
Who’s to say it can’t be changed back?
In the comics Mephisto is helped by a witch called AGatha harkNESS. So she's probably not Mephisto but an accomplice.
i just love the way he refers to Agnes when his "talking right to her" it gives of disgruntled neighbor vibes
Why does it sound like cap is saying “who is doing this to you Wanda” on the radio
It’s not cap cuz his voice is to soft now that he’s old, it’s jimmy woo
yeah its jimmy woo, who we saw in ant man and the wasp
Okay but that's who I first that it was when I heard it lol
Wanda (Scarlet Witch) is the most powerful avenger ever!
Yeah she is!
In movie canon she is
@@Shadow11550 She is a bad b**** in the comics as well with incredible power. Her sister Polaris in the comics who is also a daughter of Magneto is also very powerful and mainly has the same power as Magneto.

POV: you're watching 3 weeks later after the big reveal
The first clue we get that Agnes is up to no good is when she introduces herself as Wanda's "Neighbor to the right. My right, not yours." Clearly she has a morality all to herself.
Guys, clearly “The Devil” is referring to Daredevil and he’s gonna show up!
Just kidding. But I wish I wasn’t
There are rumors that he will be showing up in Spider-Man 3 as Peter's lawyer.
@@lordofninjas1 what character DOESNT have rumors to appear in Spiderman 3
@@grahamhall997 I've not heard rumors of Hawkeye showing up in it, or Hulk, or Thor, or Captain Marvel, or the Guardians, etc. I also know you probably meant that as rhetorical, I just felt like answering anyways.
It’s the opposite of spider man two
Far from home= Thor, off world
Spider man 3= what about me from two other universes, there here what about dr strange, yep, daredevil of course and also everyone else
There's a villain in the comics named Mojo and I'm starting to wonder if he's responsible. He tends to deal with the XMen but has interacted with other heroes in the past. He usually traps heroes in scenarios that he broadcasts on his interdimensional cable network for sponsors and audience shares. Everything that's going on would be something he'd be capable of. I also think he would work better as a series villain instead of a film villain since his stories work best over long periods. It would explain the commercials a little better. It would be a nice redirect from all of the theories that have jumped on Mephisto as the big bad, connects to the multiverse, and could be used as a back door into the XMen proper.
I just binged the whole series and it's scary how close this was from episode 2. It was indeed Agatha all along
i love that Wanda got her own show, even if it was just a sitcom because she’s such an underrated character in the mcu
If the answer isn’t “Wanda is doing this to herself,” I’m going to be sorely disappointed
I think she’s being forced to do that to herself by someone else who wants her to do this. Maybe she’s being encouraged by the chance of getting vision back
Why?
I’d be at least happy that she does influence the reality that she's in. We've seen it. It's also a pretty nice excuse to bring an epic character like Mephisto into the woodwork. 💭
House of M! House of M! House of M!
Here’s a theory: when cap went back in time to return the stones, he got Vision from right before Thanos kills him, brings him to the future and the time cops that Loki is going to deal with in his series pursue Wanda and 2018 vision so she creates this new reality to hide!!
I like this one.
@@getmeouttahere1209 and even let Tony's parents get killed by Bucky but decides to return vision
I like this theory
It is genuinely insane for correct you guys are with this theory. (As of episode seven) Agnes isnt mephisto but for all we know at this point she could be an underling of his. Good job guys
I think Agnes is evil becuse in the trailer she was unconscious and when vison woke her up she said "am I dead" and vison said "no why would you think that?" Then she said "because you are".
I think Agnes is Agatha Harkness and I think who she says her husband is Mephisto
That's what new rockstars thinks too. I agree
@@brandonmiller8351 That's what most MCU supernerd channels think tbh. And I also agree
I think Agnes’ husband that she mentions is mythisto. His name is Ralph and she refrences him a lot but we never see him for some reason.
Is it really that hard to spell MEPHISTO? 😂 I swear that this is the 10th time I saw someone failed to spell his name in this comment section 😂
@@johnelmartagbago3764 yeah lol I never can get the hang of it 😂
He's in episode 2 watching the talent show. Look harder.
maybe its a classic rumplestinsky story and mephisto is doing this also, for the children. Wanda ask to have a life with vision and mephisto wants the children as payment. if they are even real
Spoiler alert for anyone that hasn't seen the episode today (1/22):
I have a theory that actually Wanda might know what's going on. She was there when Vision was killed, but she rejected that reality so strongly that she was able to create a substitute reality that has Vision being alive. Support for that theory: She seemed to act a bit like she suspected something was wrong, but she consistently rewound the time when something came up that would make her admit it. This was true in the first 2 episodes, but she still seemed to be trying to figure out something that was wrong. The 3rd episode shows some much stronger evidence for that as well. Geraldine seems to be someone that is an outside influence, potentially trying to save Wanda from where she is "stuck," especially with her sword necklace. Geraldine mentioned Pietro being killed by Ultron. Then, she seemed to be thrown out of that universe into somewhere else that is a separate timeline or universe (since it was still the same town). Wanda, who clearly saw something happen and should have been either confused or concerned after seeing that, just acted like nothing was wrong and Geraldine "went home." Also the other people in the town seem to know something is wrong, and they don't want to tell Vision about it (When they were nervous of Vision overhearing them and of Geraldine being present). I think that Wanda prevented the doctor's vacation (earlier in the 3rd episode) when Vision mentioned that the doctor was going to be leaving on vacation.
The fact that Vision is there and does not know what is going on actually inspires a different theory that I have. The mind stone was destroyed, but... What does that mean? Clearly the stones have existed for a long time. Can they actually be destroyed? It is possible that they were "destroyed," but what actually happened is that they were kind of spread throughout the universe, but with the right amount of power, you can bring them back together, and with Wanda having powers that integrate very well with the stones, she might have the right amount/type of power to be able to bring it together. That, or she may have brought a separate mind stone from a similar yet slightly different reality in which Vision did not die. I think Vision is actually there, whether he is the same or not. He clearly does not know what is going on like the other members of the town do, and he's trying to figure it out and break out more than Wanda. I don't think Wanda would let him have freedom to escape based on her previous behavior if he were completely a construct of the reality that they are in.
Mind has been educated
This would be okay but she is shown in the trailer to have a “glitch”
Does anyone else say Mephisto like how Buddy from Elf says Fransisco.
Meh-FIST-Toeeee
They should have done this video in black and white except for the parts where J talks about what’s happening
I think Wanda made a deal with Mephisto to bring back Vision, and her kids are the payment
Please tell me that when Agnes said the name Dottie, I wasn’t the only one to think of Dottie Underwood from Agent Carter
Me too
I'VE BEEN SAYING IT FOR YEARS THAT WANDA IS THE MOST POWERFUL AVENGER!
Also anyone remember how she took control of the Avengers minds in AoU? Or how she could read Visions thoughts? Or how she mind controlled an entire city to get the people out? This combined with what she did to Thanos makes it so clear how powerful she is
this was so good and makes so much sense!!! I love your videos thank you for the high quality content :))
She isn't the devil because in the trailer she referred to the avengers and everyone was running around
