I agree that hawks is very impressive but him not attending UA is not that crazy as I think in the new op/ed he is shown being trained by a mystery person at like the age of 7-9

Basically the CIA or FBI trained him in Japan.
1 or 2 of his feathers can easily lift a full grown Japanese male. He has hundreds of these on each wing. Even if the people only weighed 100lbs, he'd be effortlessly lifting tons when using all his feathers. The guy's busted.
Deku at less than 20% can lift several cars at once, meaning several tons

Kormega meaning lifting several tons isn’t particularly impressive in the MHA World. Characters like cementos can lift much more simply using their quirk than hawks can. Hawks is strong because he is fast and he can multitask, not because his strength. He is quite weak strength wise compared to other heroes

I think Hawks is the type of person who is so fast, no one can hit him. So he’ll use his intellect and information gathering skills along with his speed to take people down over a long period. So I think if he plays his card right, he could take down almost anyone. But he doesn’t have much of the basic power to cause this much damage to someone who’s especially powerful without going as hard as he can.
Remember when the villains first attacks U.A and All Might ran down those steps of stairs in less than a second? Those were the days.

It's fucking OP. He basically have byakugan with his feather vibration ability, he can freely control hundreds of lethal feathers reaching from small and light to sword sized ones (which makes him pretty good at multy tasking), he can fly, he is currently the fastest hero and he is a natural born battle genius
He follows the same principle we follow in bed.

@@GG-xm2cm he doesn't stand a chance against guys like endeavor, the highened nomu, allmight, the usj nomu, etc. though, who are just using brute force. (endeavor does use many great techniques but he's pretty good in brute force)
I like how he's not overpowered or anything because this just shows that power isn't the only that will get you to the top. He's one of my favorite characters in the whole bnha universe because he's a hero who knows what he can do and he does it swiftly. Btw, great narration and explanation! Hawks ftw!

In terms of speed feats though when izuku went infinite 100% in the overhaul arc he traveled from below ground to high in the air faster than anyone could see. Wouldn't that be close?

That was a one time thing though, what with the Eri backpack thing. At the moment since Deku can't reliably control 100% OfA yet Hawks is the fastest.
Midoriya 100% is a lot faster than hawks but it's a one time thing for now so
Hawks showed a similiar feat in chaoter 243 or 244 when he swooped down a skycraper

i've always wondered on how powerfull he actually is, given that we haven't seen him fight someone seryously yet.
if you don't mind spoilers, in chapter 265 twice uses his infinite double and Hawks can rip them apart easily with his feathers. Hawks really only has bad matchups against brute strength and indiscriminate attacks like fire or electricity. In open air or against the majority of the characters in MHA, he would be insanely overpowered.

If I had a chance to have quirk (besides OFA and AFO) I would have loved his quirk. His quirk rivals Bakugou's when it comes to versitality

He probably uses a soft brush or cleans it properly like a pigeon would by soaking it in water and if it gets too dirty he can just throw it away
It takes a day to fully regenerate his feathers, it was stated in video and manga
I dont know about nutrition part I think it takes more mental and physical energy to control the feathers compared to regrowing them

I think you're downplaying Hawks strenghts. He couldnt do anything against the high end nomu because of Endeavors' flames burning down the feathers.
Plus he was trying to be a double agent. The League of villians were trying to see if he is someone they can let in.

7:33 is Hawks faster than High-Speed Hero: O'Clock? I honestly haven't kept up with my hero atm so haven't seen Hawks in action directly but I always assumed O'Clock was the fastest considering how crazy fast the person who took his quirk was.

In the team up manga Hawks easily catches up to a villain with a speed quirk. So my guess is that he is faster than O'Clock.

Hahahahaha I came into this video thinking about "One Punch Man" I was having a hard time combining both series and the number 2 hero and the new foundation stuff. I am pretty far into the one punch man overview but I am absolutely not even close to an expert at all. I am glad to hear that it's MHA not OPM. I thought I was going mad!

Hard to imagine he is as fast as ida? Whatever his name is with the engine power when he goes over drive. If anything his brother before hand which we never got to see but imagine of the engine power at full efficiency/power. But in mid air combat I’m sure he is the most evasive hero which I would argue is more than likely hawks best attribute. Being able to evade even the high end nomu’s attacks and if frank would one hit just about anyone I’m sure. Though I’m not a manga reader so I’ve not seen this nomu unless he is the same nomu with the absorbing dmg power.
Keep in mind, Iida is fast but only in straigthish lines.
How will he fight dabi
Full potential todoroki washes him in a minute, but he also washes his father and has the best chance out of anyone against prime allmight. Obviously that supports the quirk evolution thing which is why todorki in his prime would wash endevor, easily. But I’m getting off topic. This #3 hero is weak compared to what some of the classmate have to offer. Midoria, todoroki, bakugo, and tokoyami.
It isnt just the quirk, but how the individual uses it. I think a lot of people forgot that being a Hero is like 90% Evacuation and Rescue, despite being told this by Pro-Heroes over and over. We tend to compare heroes by combat because that's what we see most in the show. Heroes like Bakugo, Todoroki, and even Kaminari will struggle to help people as they have limited control over their quirks. Hawk can control each feather perfectly and use them to lift people, debris, or anything else away from a conflict or dangerous situation. He can be in hundreds of places at once, while other heroes can only be engaged in 2 or 3 tasks at a time. He more than deserves the Number 2 spot.

They don't compare at all. The crawler was stated as a little faster than a bike and ida has never shown speed like that. I doubt the same for ingenium as well
