Douglas Macgregor: "Europeans need to take control of their own destiny"

  • Paul Buitink talks to former U.S. army colonel Douglas Macgregor about the war in Ukraine and how Washington should intervene to come to a negotiated settlement before Ukraine is completely destroyed.
    Macgregor doesn't think Russia has an interest in conquering more of Europe. Europe should become militarily and economically independent of the US and become their own first responders.
    Macgregor explains the Russian military strategy, how far to the West they would go and what the path to peace looks like.
    He also explains Trump's views and to what extent Trump would be able to change things.
    Furthermore Macgregor gives his views on China and Taiwan.
    He ends the conversation with advice for European voters for the European elections in June.

      Are you insane? YOU STARTED all those wars post WWII! America has systematically subjugated, plundered and started wars with HUNDREDS of sovereign nations over the decades and continue to do so to THIS DAY! 750 military bases abroad, tens of thousands of miles away from American soil, and that's to "PROTECT THE WORLD!" is it? Don't be ridiculous. America is the biggest terrorist nation on Earth. They make the British Empire and Roman Empire pale in comparison in terms of their rap sheets.
      "UP TO AMERICA TO SAVE EVERYONE" what a joke. A million dead Vietnamese, including hundreds of thousands of women and children, burned to death with napalm and flame throwers. Cambodian children being blown to pieces to this day by stepping on the tens of millions of clusterebombs still burried throughout their country. A million dead Iraqi's for a FAKE WAR started for oil plundering in the middle east based on LIES from your congress and voted against by the people of America. Same in Afghanistan and Libya. NOW in Syria pumping and stealing 44,000 barrels of oil a DAY from their country. Supporing genocide in Israel right now. Instigating and funding proxy wars in Ukraine resulting in (so far) 500,000 dead Ukranians, 1,000,000 injured and 60,000 MISSING UKRANIAN CHILDREN dissappered god knows where, cos of THE USA!
      Yeah mate ..... keep on "saving the world".

      Those who are in visible positions, aren't they all puppets, probably kept with things that aren't very clear, weren't they chosen precisely for that?
      I still have the impression that the psychopathic hand behind the screen, the puppeteers, no one talks about them.
      These puppeteers who uses and abuses all our countries for his interests and who always wins on all counts regardless of the countries or populations sacrificed, this with the help of the puppets whom they always find to allow themselves to be corrupted and perverted in all ways. ..who is or are they?
      Who is or are these great architect whose hands has been systematically found in all disasters for at least 500 years?

      Yes, I agree that American elites have become less and less interested in also giving their "allies" a fair piece of the cake, or real control over what NATO should be about. People like Stoltenberg (ex-PM of Norway) are just tokens and mouthpieces), the real control of the bloc, to all intents and purposes, is American, and they don't care what happens to Europe (or Japan etc). Washington is also less and less willing to accept the presence of non-aligned/neutral states, even when these are generally friendly to the US - the mindset has become "you're either with us outright or you're against us, and then you get to pay the price".

      Crimea should have been sorted out by diplomatic means, and to put it candidly, I think both the local people there and Moscow are perfectly right in regarding the peninsula as Russian. The people of Crimea did what the people of Texas did in 1835-37, under much the same circumstances (Mexico was in political turmoil too at the time) but for some mystery reason they are not allowed to claim that kind of moral right by the puffed-up western elites.
      The EU/N:UTO are just Panglossian and cherry-picking to the hilt over this, and the background reason is that they don't want to say anything against the US. If Crimea had been resolved and accepted as part of Russia by the West, we would not have had the present war in Ukraine

      @Warhead-Vun Před měsícem

      There were 3 factual errors committed by the colonel : 1) China was ruled by non han Chinese for about 1000 years in aggregate throughout its entire 5000 history, among these non han dynasties were the northern barbarian tribes like the huns, the monguls, the manchurians, etc, following that, western imperialists and the japs invaded China , so to say that the viets were one of the the main ethnic group in today's China's population was grossly misleading, in fact, it's hard to find a pure blood han Chinese due to its history of being ruled under different non han empires. 2) the Chinese did not practice economic imperialism through multiplying in numbers while overseas , the mass migration of the Chinese was due human trafficking, wars and atrocity brought upon them by the brutal western imperialists and the japs, they escaped death and starvation by going overseas. As a matter of fact, china was a hermit country during the qing dynasty until the imperialists arrived at thier shores in gunboats and canons. Similarly in africa, after the colonists had wretched the continents and looted all its resources, the African people had to cross the ocean to go where their stolen wealth is located. And unlike the Europeans, the Chinese has never genocided the natives and took over the natives lands, they were satisfied with doing mining, brick laying, rail road works, these works formed the backbone of the host country's economy and prosperity. 3) the reasons for the japs invasion were looting and genocide, certainly not because of unwillingness to pay an annual paltry sum of tributes to China. Centuries before, The japs even begged the Tang court to teach them farming, handcrafts, arts and science etc etc to transform their own populations into a modern and civilised community. centuries later, The japs emulated the imperialism and Europeans' industry revolution and launched large scale invasion and brutal genocides all over Asia. I hope the colonel can conduct his own independent research on China further to lend credence to his remarks concerning China.
