It still surprises me how someone's singing voice can sound so different from their speaking voice like Leighton's.
Charlie Book Fanatic I think it's because when someone is speaking they don't think about vocal technique... it can really change the timbre and resonance in your voice, which is why voice lessons are so important even if you're born with amazing singing abilities
You should listen to her sing in Country Strong, and then listen to her on the Ellen interview... her voice is so different!

I'm surprised, the only thing I heard with Leighton singing was "Good Girls go Bad" when it was popular a few years ago and I wasn't impressed. However, this cover sounds really good and I'm impressed that she covered such an amazing band like Fleetwood Mac so successfully. I respect her so much more now.
