    The impressive part of this is not the winning without looking at his cards... it's the fact he won so many hands he went in all in while behind. It's like watching someone win a big scratch off.

    Don't know much about poker but I think this video was maybe the most instructive video regarding strategy and how to play. When there's no cards confusing you, you end up understanding much more what you talk about.
    Some haters might say that was a bad play but hey you won and as said gave a good insight to one strategy.
    Thanks!

    Sooo you chopped on 2 all-ins, and won like 5 others? This was pure horse$ luck. Your early strategy with position and whatnot was spot on, but the later "shove" strategy was all luck in this game.

    Pretty sure people are missing the point. He is proving the point that you do not need to know your whole cards in every situations. It's optimising this similar strategy whilst knowing your holdings. I'm sure he isn't doing this on a regular basis to make profit.. he is making the point.. damn chill GUYIZ.

    I can't decide whether I'm impressed or not. To me it was just incredibly lucky. In the beginning his strategy didn't work out at all - he did not steal many pots. In the end he just shoved all-in, got called mostly and won with crappy hands and the help of god. Seriously, how can you win with 2-squadouche. I tell you: Full House when the board comes 99928. With guys like him you can't play real poker since nobody would shove this shit, and you don't expect him to do it. AQs is a good hand. He made the correct call to me. Unlucky he played against a blind playing guy.

    I think this is that crazy example in poker where it's actually easier to play against players that know what they're doing. I fear this would not work on a low blinds game where there are unpredictable players at the table.

    Hi Pulse Au, can i ask u something? On the bubble, you pushed random hand and he called with AQs, of course it was wrong move from him. But i was really likely that he would call AQs because you surly knew that he wasnt reg and he probably doesn t know icm on the bubble etc. Just look at comment from theDeadlyMedic and a lot of likes on his comment so it means on this stakes are a lot of fishes. If you consider that you play on micro stakes and they are fishes, is it not correctly to fold from sb? Because reg would have called about 3% hands but fish would have called a wide range, and wouldn t it damaged you both? In favor of the other two players? On high stakes are surly players that know icm but on micro stakes are only few regs. Please answer if possible

    • @joeriandries
      @joeriandries Před 8 lety

      i'll answer in his stead... NEVER fold from the small blind if blinds are so high and stacks so low, unless you know for sure the other guy is gonna call alot, he happenned to have AQ in this spot which indeed many player would call cuz they think they're playing a cashgame or something and they just need to gain alot of chips, but he's still gonna fold like 90% of his hands and you just gain so much each time everybody folds

    @DrElliottVest Před 8 lety

    People are criticizing him on the fact that he thought the AQ was a bad call, but on the bubble, i believe folding AQ is the correct play. No hand is drawing dead preflop, so why would he risk his tournaments life when one of the two other players are almost guaranteed to get out first? Of course AQ is ahead right now, but the chips likely to be gained aren't as significant as the chips possibly lost. ICMs and in depth thinking make the AQ a clear fold

    Unlike a lot of the critics in these comments I agree that, that is not a call with AQs unless he noticed you were just stealing the blinds. but he really shouldnt be calling an all in on the bubble against the chip leader. The ICM value for the chips is way to high for you to risk losing 90% of your chips on the bubble. Especially for him since he would bust and the second chip lead is very valuable in a situation like this

    You just won or split the pot every time you moved all-in. You haven't outplayed any player...

      ciric95 did you even watch the video. I made many plays with ATC ranges which are +EV. 'You haven't outplayed any player...' Watch the first hand I play at 8:00 . I float IP with ATC and win the pot. How was I lucky here? The point of this video was to have fun and discuss ATC spots in SnGs and stack manipulation.

      Pulse AU Yes, I forgot about that first hand. But you survived 3 or 4 shoves :D Anyway I think you are good player and I wish you all the best!

      I know I got very lucky. But I still think there are some interesting things in this video to learn from. It was mainly for fun. Thanks for the compliments.

      ciric95 i think its dumb to think this is all skills and outplaying. Obviously there are plenty of luck involved. It's about making the best decision in the scenario given.

      +glAre That logic makes no sense. What you can't criticise something unless you have done it yourself?
      Thats a retarded position to have.
      If I put my car in the garage to get the brakes fixed, but when I get the car back, the brakes are worse than they were before, there's smoke coming out the engine and the steering wheel is loose.
      Does that mean I am not allowed to criticise, because I've never tried to fix brakes before, and I am not a qualified mechanic?
      It is possible to not be able to do something, but be able to tell when it hasn't been done as well as it could.
      Sometimes the skill set required for being able to do something and being able to tell whether its good or not are different.
      And in poker, many people know how to play the game better than they do, but when there in the heat of battle make mistakes, either because their itching to get involved in a hand or their too scared to make a play.
