Part of Santana's sound is his very subtle finger vibrato. You demonstrated this masterfully. Some guys want to do that over the top blues vibrato and that is not what Carlos does in these early recordings.

My friend had me receive an SG custom while away for a month, to be a present to his 14 yr old daughter. I wanted to learn a good song to inspire her... This and Zeppelin's ten years gone will do it, or I'm keeping the guitar! 🎸

This is a great tutorial. I learned to play the original Peter Green version from a book called "Instant Peter Green" but always found the Carlos Santana version a bit of a challenge. Now I have no excuse!

Really good lesson. What are your amp and pedal settings?
Reverb, chorus, distortion and a bit delay. Amp settings adjusted the treble and bass for the color.
