Precisely bro ! The current 'free' market for money system is more 'free' for asset-rich people.
Fixing this need talking more about banking fundamentals. RBNZ has clearly mentioned how banks 'create' money by issuing more mortgages. We should stop using this 'created' money for investors' speculation. They should only use 'earned' money to invest

I will find the best rent I can afford. If you keep introducing healthy home regulations, increase the insulation requirement, cancel tax deductibility of interest and all of those “good” stuff, it makes the rent go up. @@emmamarlenesoutham Frist off, the right wing parties are not going to make it harder for young people to rent or get an education. Right wing parties just want more land owners to have more legal rights and actions that involve the houses that they own. Because Landowners are paying mortgage and have responsibility for that house. Now right wing parties may defund certain aspects of an economy, but that is to ensure that tax cuts can happen and hard working New Zealanders can keep more of their hard earned money.
Lastly yea I understand why they would have a younger interviewer for a young debate. But that doesn’t justify the interviewer being SO bias towards one side, and try to argue with them, that’s not the interviewers job.

Or money that could be used as a deposit tied up in a bond making it more difficult to compete in a rising bubble of a housing market?
Or landlords increasing rent to both cover increased outlay and reflect a reasonable return on an increased value?
Or increased rent driving inflation and making it harder for those trying to build a deposit to compete on the housing market as disposable income drops to meet rent?

But if they're not hurting anyone else, then there's simply no problem, and whether a third person considers another one or two "abnormal" or "normal" is just totally irrelevant.
Anyway, wow, I can't wait for Chloe Swarbrick to be PM. I hope it's next election. She is so amazing.

Progress isn't a pendulum it's a stairway to a better world for all. Women voting was considered abnormal, children dying of disease was considered normal. Dragging people a few steps back towards the dark ages and witch burnings should never be a political goal. Being a better more caring and accepting person should be. If you don't understand change look for good sources of information to help you move with the times, but remember acceptance of other people, new ideas and technology doesn't require understanding.
When your daughter or granddaughter brings a transboy home, they don't need your labels, judgement or condemnation they need you to be their for them and to respect their love and care with your own.

There are gender neutral bathrooms in many schools, bars, restaurants, public spaces and everyones personal bathroom in their house is gender neutral. I understand that not very long ago public toilets were not even gendered - in many places, only for men. Even less time ago, in many places different races couldn't share the same bathrooms. The fact that they would bother to make a policy preventing people from using the gender bathroom of choice is wild. Trans people are more likely to be the subject of assault than the assailant, statistically. Its just fear mongering from this party about people who seem "different".

The greens don't know how it would be possible to enforce the guys using the girls bathrooms.
How about if the girls see a dude in their bathroom they get a teacher and then that male is warned not to use girls bathrooms by the teacher and there be some sort of consequences for his action. ....Just a thought...
The greens solution would be for him to welcomed into the girls bathroom and then undergo gender reassignment surgery and take a life time worth of estrogen every week for the rest of his life, as this will allow him to feel authentic and empowered as the girl he truly is. Until he realises that he was just a political fashion victim.
Chloe and the Greens believe the affirmation of a Childs gender dysphoria or current trend is more important than protecting children and woman's spaces.
A vote for Greens, Labour or Te Moari is a vote for pro-transvestite ideology to be imposed on all NZ and their children.

I would suggest they're pointing out the incidents of people assigned as female at birth being harrassed even beaten up because they didn't look feminine enough for transphobes.
Transwomen want all women to be able to use bathrooms safely.
Ciswomen want all women to be able to use bathrooms safely.
All women want all women to be able to use bathrooms safely.
Transphobes are scared of recognizing some people are born trans, and that being trans is not a perversion or a delusion people choose. Such a recognition doesn't fit their world view of what is right. They feel they have the right to decide others identities for them.
They would like women's bathrooms to be unsafe for Transwomen because they feel unsafe accepting the possibility being born trans exists.
The reality is people are born with a range of obvious and less obvious intersex conditions which develop as people mature. Men and women come in a diverse range of shapes sizes, colours, hairiness and looks.
There were individuals who borderlined being able to access whites only bathrooms, so who should make the call? The individual or a self appointed bathroom police inspector?
If someone is making a bathroom unsafe by their actions report them.
But if it is a person's differences and presence that is upsettling to you remember Ciswomen grow beards, Ciswomen can be tall, muscled, have masectomies, strong jaws, short hair and enlarged genitals and if your actions are the ones making a bathroom unsafe, you should be the one reported.
Transwomen, Ciswomen, all women, want all women to able to use bathrooms safely.

    • @garethdelux9266
      @garethdelux9266 Před 8 měsíci +11

The reality actually is that people are born as either male or female aside from a minute few have genetic abnormalities who are legitimate hermaphrodites.
The sex of a person isn't on a scale, you may have a male who has socially feminine traits, but that doesn't make him a female nor does the amount of hair they have on their body. Being male or female isn't dictated by the mood you're in on a particular day, or the colour of your skin.
The reality is alot of women don't want a dude with a dick in there changing room/ bathroom/ boxing competition/ swimming competition/ cycling competition / prison/ job.. Just because that man has gender dysphoria .
Some people don't want women's lives to be negatively impacted by a few people who can't deal with there own reality or are jumping on the political/ fashion band wagon.
If some guy wants to put on a dress and call himself Tina then that's fine but I think the problem is that Tina is now insisting that everyone recognises he is a woman, When the reality is he's just Dave in a dress in the wrong bathroom... @@OldOneTooth

@@garethdelux9266 rather than answering your year 8 science advice with an explanation of microchimerism, epidemiological impacts on the expression of the SRY gene etc which after all is still under study. Let's keep it simple.
Q: Who gets to decide your gender and how will it be enforced?
How are you going to help ciswomen who look different, feel safe to use bathrooms by legalising harassing, bullying, preventing and in some cases assaulting anyone you feel doesn't look feminine enough, from using a bathroom?
What is your solution, visible tattoo's, ID cards, implant chips, combined with medical certication boards who assign gender?
Transwomen, ciswomen all women want to be able to use bathrooms safely.
When you attack some women's rights to do so others women's rights will be breeched, because rights are indivisible, they are shared not scared.
Why not campaign on modernising bathrooms so all women feel safe from attack by any man or woman who wants to use them instead of attacking one group of women with an unworkable policy that could never be safely policed?
Sure women will have to queue less, men queue more if all spaces are gender neutral, but everyone will feel safe.
You may not accept transpeople exist, but plenty of us, that know them do. One lovely lady was even my MP.

It sounds like you're saying that women who have masculine features might be stopped from using female spaces...I think that's very unlikely, and I reckon they'd be happy to take one for the team. Unlike Dave. But I guess if you're fortunate enough to look and act like a woman when you're using their spaces then that's your good fortune. And I guess if you get to a certain age in life and you don't know what sex you are then you're likely either a hermaphrodite (which you would already know) or in need of some type of help.
The argument for transvestite's is very very complicated; Which is normally suggests something is being built on deception or in this case nonsense..
In your previous comment you alluded to non pro trans people (feminists) being on par with racists.
The classic pro trans go to.
And now you're trying to align the trans cause with the Jewish plight in fascist Germany.
Which is pretty insulting to the Jewish community.
The irony is that never since Nazi Germany has such a deluded mob mentality, combined with an attempt to shut down speech taken over.
That's right, girlfriend, I said it, The left are the new Nazis...
As for the vaccine passports ..oops I mean the tattoos and microchips and ID cards we'll leave that to the Greens and Labour. I noticed they're big fans.
By the way I don't know if you've heard but the Jewish society of NZ and AUS has requested that people stop calling people Fascist when they're not actually Fascists. So don't go there... I know you've been taught to... but resist.. but I guess If Dave can call himself Tina then you can call me whatever you like... but I'll keep in mind it will likely mean the opposite.
You also mentioned trans people being attacked, But the only people I've seen being attacked are women who wanted to hear other women talk at Albert park, a small group of women being attacked by a 3000 strong mob, then those attackers (men in skirts) then being glamorized by the press. and Oh yeah that poor American swimmer who was forced to hide in a room whilst the trans community tried to extort money out of her... or ... about a quadzillian other examples of trans activists being violent to anyone opposing their ideology.
I guess that what people want in politicians is the ability to be able to display that they are truthful, rational and reasonable.
Which I guess is why Labour and the Greens are polling so lowly.

if you actually cared about the safety of women and children you would know the horrifically high suicide rates amongst young queer people. The bathroom debate is about trying to reduce the suicide rate and anyone who says that preventing trans rights is for safety is only doing it for controll. The statistics around young transgender people paints a very clear picture and to prevent them from living fullfilling lives when doing so clearly spikes the suicide rates is actively investing in the death of young people. Where is the safety in that.

It's such a shame. This is going to be hard for me to decide where I put my votes for. I personally think that Rainbow Rights isn't important and is just a distraction and a waste of time. I don't have anything against them. As long as they don't go overboard on what they decide what to like. I'd prefer the people to think about cost of living and climate change and health like dental checkups and so on.
Seriously, would you rather: Let people have laws and create a world with toilets for every gender and more nonsense like that? OR Focus on currently cost of living and food on the table or prevention and solutions to climate change?
I agree with the Kenya President. This topic isn't important and is not a major issue. If becoming gay or lgbqt or if they have some kind of secret way of making life better, sure by all means let me know. Otherwise, i'm going to logically prioritize real issues, like cost of living (eg food, gas, housing, etc) and climate change.
