Met Alan a few times backstage at Shed 7 Gigs in Glasgow, a lovely guy and a brilliant drummer, all the best for the future mate.
I wish the lads nothing but success and Shed 7 to me is and will ALWAYS be 'Witter, Banks, Gladwin, LEACH......Johnson.....!...'
Alan can surely be 'allowed' back in the seat any time he says he's ready.......Can't wait for Friday, the new music is actually fucking brilliant......All the best Alan mate and thanks for the vibes & somersaults
I saw Shed Seven way back in the day in Vancouver. I always knew there was something special about Alan. Now after this interview I was right. God Bless you for standing up for what you believe in. Much love from police state Canada 🍁 ❤
Spent many a backstage with shed seven courtesy of Joe.
Alan was always great and let me choose a few tunes a few times on the old laptop.
Cracking band and cracking lads.
Love you Alan - 100% have you back in a flash! :-D
Apparently he left on Friday.
And ruined their weekend
Always wondered why Alan left the band, massive respect to him after seeing this interview hope he rejoins with the sheds someday soon.
As usual open honest opinion! Great interview! Hope a time comes when you rejoin one of the best live bands in the world!
I never got to see Shed Seven live living in southern California but I always loved his drumming on the albums. I should listen to the live album and focus on his drumming.
Alan seems like a wonderful guy.
Brilliant interview really enjoyed that 👍
Great interview 👍
Great interview, always love hearing the views of non singer/lead guitarists from bands.
Totally agree with your reasoning about stepping down. Looking back I think more people think this way about it now. The priority of keeping friends there is admirable. Well done. Great interview with an obviously great bloke. From one Yorkshire man to another.
Not even a mention..... loved listening to this our kid. Also really like the creative new stuff. Keep it up my old mate
Great interview. Its so nice to hear from him post sheds. Chuffed to hear he's been playing in Mr Dale's cellar of dreams. Keep on it Alan and hopefully see you again soon 👏🤞
Great drummer and I'm sure he's had a few conflicting thoughts about his decision. But it's great that he's still friends with the lads, because your mates are one of the main things that light up your life. So important the experiences you share with them.
Hope they do a few things together in the future, even if its guest appearances on tours and albums.
Comes over really well . All the best with your future ventures Alan.
Good for you Alan!
He’s brilliantly spot on! Best part is meeting them form the post Brum gig!
great you have sponsporship - sounds like a good product.
Saw the Sheds just 4 days ago 😊
Alan was 100% right, sad the others didn’t agree. Love both camps, come back Alan
Sometimes you've got to put your foot down, big respect to Alan for graciously standing aside whilst respecting others conflicting views.
On another note, whether by lack of creative influence, band democracy or coincidence; the music that the Sheds are currently drip feeding is just below par.
Imagine my interest will return when Alan does.
Top bloke got to go with what you believe. A consequence of being a conspiracy theorist is not worrying about Myocarditis and Strokes.
Epically legendary
Is that a Cananbis plant in the background 🌿
Hey Alan, will you ever re-join the band?
Massive respect for Alan and his decision. The rapid creep of authoritarianism during that period was - and remains - a very dire threat to all our freedoms.
While I love the music of Shed Seven and I'm happy they got their no 1... I can't help but feel it might have been an award from tptb for going along with the program.
Haha behave yourself! @@cockshield
Well done alan, were not all sheeple, people, fans, believe,😎😁
Alan comes across as a top bloke, what a talent. The interviewer is a bit flat :(
I quite liked the interviewer, merely from the fact he let's Alan answer the questions and tell the story. People like Jonathon Ross do my head in.
Alan was proved 100% correct on the vaccine.
Now they`re number 1......unlucky!
Nothing unlucky by standing by your principles...seems Alan was right all along. He’s no.1 as far as I’m concerned!!
good to see someone stand up against tyranical mandates
