- The Panamera 4 is Porsche's answer to the competition from Audi, BMW, and Mercedes Benz. On the outside it has body lines that make it looked like a stretched 911. On the inside you will be greeted to top quality materials, leather seating, and the perfect steering wheel. Under the hood there is a 3.0L turbo V6 producing 330HP & mated to a PDK transmission. Porsche did improve the overall design with the later generation of the Panamera. The first one looks weird because of that high humping back, the second generation does looks better because of the smooth coupé roofline. That's one of the best redesign improvement I've ever seen.
It has vents Joe they are active flaps that open up to prioritize aero or cooling. If you take it for a spin and look at the front after you hop out you will see they are open. Porsches never put fake vents on their cars!

Just love it, out of this world. Especially that infotainment system, placed so nicely in the dashboard. Not sticking out like most of the other brands.

Such an awesome car, I’ve always loved these Panameras. Even with this base engine it’s still plenty of fun and a decent sound too!
Right? I like 911's, but these are far more affordable and much more practical

@@RaitisRides fun fact about me is that the Panamera was my very first favorite car I have always wanted a Panamera ever since but I am going Nissan Altima and Chevy Malibu RS for fuel efficiency because I want a car that has good mpg the Panamera gets 18 mpg in the city and good on the highway but I don't care about that the Panamera Turbo S 2012 the 970 version I love going on throttle just like you flooring that 500 horsepower Panamera Turbo S through the twistybits
Since the panamera badge is black, the wheels are mostly black, and the tail lights are smoked out, the black door handles are a nice touch.😉

@@joecampbell2529 I think this (used) to be called ‘Sapphire Blau’ for Porsche. Unfortunately it was discontinued, but it was all across the Porsche range! Hopefully I could help out 😄.

I'm not the biggest fan of Porsche,but if you got the dough,then the Panamera is definitely the best way to go. 👌 😄 Porsche performance,sexy sedan looks and room for family or three or four of your closest friends. Aside from the Hellcat Charger, the Cadillac CT6-V and the Mercedes AMG GT 4-door,this is on my list of sports sedans.
How it makes it to 60 in 4.6 sec with only 330 hp and 4K lbs is amazing

Great info Joe, the 2018 Re-design was huge improvement. My 18' S6 will leave this prom queen like she was tied to a post. The similar used car is an A6 with 3.0 turbo. Porsche interior is nice tho.

Love the Panamera.The crazy thing is you can get an old junker Panamera for pretty cheap and its hell of a car for the price you going to pay.

Hi Joe love the review on the Porsche, however MAYBE next you should review the 2021 gts v8 version and pit that car against the Amg g 63s ,both are great cars. Which one would you buy.

Just purchased 16’ w/ only 17k mi. Had a 911 for 7yrs - wife wanted more room. Not a 911 but I really enjoy this luxury GT car that’s tilled toward sport side.

I totally get why this car was originally designed. It made sense. Like Raiti, in the beginning I wasn't impressed, but it has grown on me a lot as well.
Would I buy one? Probably not. I would always defer to a Cayman. I've driven both the 911, Boxster, and a few others. But the Cayman just feels right. Not faster, just RIGHT.

I just checked out Porsche last week cause my daughter has the Cayenne.. in my view the Panamara is nice but not sure it makes sense considering they make the Cayenne and Macan... maybe I’m getting old but the higher riding position and practicality of their SUVs just Trump it... I wouldn’t wanna be in the back seat in an extended drive.. it’s proportional in the back for two but it’s anything but spacious...

It makes sense because the Panamera is sexy as heck. Why would you go ugly SUV when you can have a Panamera? Obviously the Macan isn't in this class, being cheaper, but the Cayenne is rather expensive.

Man, $72K and you don't even have leather on the dash or doorsills. 330hp when Maserati is giving you 424hp from their twin-turbo V6, or even Caddy with their slightly bigger TT V6 at 474hp! I drool over 911s and Cayman GT4, but I would not ever buy a Porsche sedan or SUV; there are far too many options that are far better both above and below the Panamera , Macan, and Cayenne. Now, when it comes to sports cars, Porsche is the pinnacle; however once you are looking at the more every day driver models, you are basically getting the same thing everyone else is selling so why bother with the Porsche?

Odd thing is, the black door handles is an option. This guy optioned out all the other black accents and added the handles to go with that. Still a zonk imo. Body color door handles would def be better.
