6:10 Actually, the one who opened the door was rush! Since his pathing is "directly ahead to next room" (unless something blocks him and he bounces back) he opens the doors as he goes. This is actually useful when navigating through doors 90-99. Since its very dark in there and hard to navigate, Rush can sometimes show you the way to the next room with his pathing while you're peeking through a closet.
pro tip open a door right before rush! he always opens another door so it gives you more rooms

The rooms is based off of the roblox game "rooms", which was also the inspiration for doors. That's why the quality of the rooms is lower. It's almost identical to the original game, but with a new entity.

The rooms actually has some interesting entities. They spawn once you reach certain rooms. The first entity is A-060 that spawns past rooms above A-060. It is like rush, so you have to hide in a locker. The second entity is A-090, the worst one. In order to avoid it, when you see a stop sign on your screen you must not move or touch the device you are playing on, otherwise you will die. The last is A-120, which just like A-060 and A-090, spawns after the room A-120. It is like ambush. There are 1000 rooms, so good luck beating those.
Fun fact, the area you guys were at in the library is not in fact safe! I learned that the hard way... however the opposite end where Alan was originally with the wardrobe blocking it is safe from the AI pathing, the only reason he should track you there is because he actually sense you or hears you! Hopefully you see this or this was helpful even to someone else!
To avoid halt, when your screen flashes walk backwards or turn around and run. Also to avoid dupe without using door numbers, dupe doors make noise and you can’t approach dupe doors from the side
I think it's quite important to mention that on 11:38 the corner in which DJ was standing wasn't actually safe
There is a really small chance that Figure goes through it before heading downstairs, so it's more safe to stay in the opposite corner behind the closet
More Tips of Surviving Rooms!
A-60
He makes little to know sounds and doesn't make any indications if he is coming or not when you are about to enter 60+ rooms try to be near the locker then continue walking if he does not come (maybe wait next to the locker for about 1-8 seconds), but if he does! hopes youll hide once he is extremely close
A-90
He indicates your screen and gives you a warning! if you ever see it on your screen do NOT move an inch. little to know movement will take 90% of your health.
A-120
He is exactly like A-60 but can spawns inside rooms with no lockers, he is loud and can easily be detected with his sounds if he is incoming (he is also slow), go return and go back a few rooms until you see a locker then hide as fast as you can. The entity won't let you open any more doors he is coming

better tip for a60 is to immedially hide in a locker whenever there are lockers in a room, there is no time limit for lockers in the rooms and you dont risk reacting too late
Extra tips:
You *can* hear A-60 when it’s far away, however it’s a deep and quiet sound. Staying next to the lockers is best for just in case, however hearing its early sound will help you detect it much easier.
Not much more to explain for A-90, just look out for the face on your screen.
A-120 sounds like steady drums, and it will attack from in front of you, unlike A-60 which attacks from behind.
Remember that entities can appear before their designated rooms (for example, A-90 appearing at room 70) but they are much less common there.

the secret room you guys found is actually a doors remake of their inspiration, rooms, a game on roblox made in i think 2020 by nicorocks5555
it has three entities:
A-60 works like rush but it makes a blaring noise instead of static and has no lights that flicker, when this happens hide in a locker
A-90 works as a popup, if you see it (red stop sign and then a greyish face), stop moving and do not move your camera angle either, if so, you will be damaged 90 hp, sometimes 100
A-120 works like ambush but comes from the front, usually you msut go back a room and find a locker, it has a chance to come back like ambush
important note: there is no hide in the lockers, so you can hide whenever in the lockers
A-90 likes to work with A-120 or A-60, usually appearing right before or right after they appear, if A-90 appears before A-60, he will be temporarily slowed down, if he appears before A-120, he will temporarily freeze A-120
each room gets darker and darker, making you use the shakelight (called gummy flashlight in the original game) or your normal flashlight
after A-200, exits can start appearing, I advise going to one of these before attempting A-1000, this will give you the back on track badge and respawn everyone who was in the run, no matter if they died or not (works the same for entering the rooms) and you will have your items too, especially the gummy flashlight, and you will be respawned in the infirmary around the mid 60s for normal doors
you both got detour badge and you both know already how to get to the rooms, but incase you play with james or skip they can also get detour even if they have died in the run, because going to the rooms will respawn everyone into the rooms, along with giving them the badge. same thing for back on track
getting to a-1000 is an accomplishment that will give you a badge (people who already died in the run for rooms will not get a-1000) and on the walkway will be a radar you would want to store, since you will drop it when you die or beat the game, so you must get to door 100 and go downstairs after running from figure to store it in the rift
if you store this radar item i advise you don't take it out and keep it in the rift as a relic like many others do, since it would suck to die mid-run and lose the radar since you took it out of the rift
the candle and the crucifix DO NOT work in the rooms, the game will even tell you if you hold it
the guiding light for the rooms is called curious light, while he encourages you to come back, he is very unhelpful for the entities.

Tip in Doors:
When you get the cellar area, or the place where you have to find the switch to open the door, as long as you get past the door where the stairs are, Rush can't get you there.
Tips for Rooms:
Getting past certain doors has certain entities that spawn. Like when you got past door 60, A-60 was able to spawn. There's ones for door 90 and 120.
When you into rooms, everyone, even the one's who are dead, get to respawn and play rooms. And what's even better is that when you get to exit Rooms (from door 200 and on) you go back to doors, where everyone respawns. So if someone dies, you can use rooms to revive everyone, as long as you exit.
Each entity has a specific sound. A-60 has a distorted like sound and he arrives really fast. So when you hear it, make sure you immediately hide.
Be careful when you pass door 90. A-90 spawns and he pops on your screen, giving you about half a second to stop. If not he takes off a big chunk of damage. You're gonna have to use only your keys, because small amounts of movement from your mouse can trigger him into attacking. Also, the rooms progressively get darker. A-90 and A-120 both make sounds, but it's A-90 you have to worry about.

Honestly, Alan's kids screaming in the background adds the spooky ambiance. That being said, hope the kids are fine.
Okay so tips for future runs:
Tip 1- no lockers? No problem, hide in a closet or off room that has doors, it even works on ambush, but ambush kills you even in halls off the path unlike rush and a-60
Tip 2- when having the crucifix you can use it on all monsters and banish them, however it don't work or figure and seek. They work and give you the achievement but don't stop them
Tip 3- doors 90-100 you CANT respawn, that's the greenhouse and has NO LIGHTS, but it has a lot of lockers, with a light stick near the sides as all the lockers are on each side
Tip 4- door 100 before opening the lever use the lockpick to unlock the room and then whe you flip the lever run into the box room and crouch and figure will walk away, sometimes he even gets stuck and you can get a ez W
*Tips for a-1000*
Tip 1- a-60 (red monster) is like rush, use lockers and downstair offices to avoid him, move slowly and don't use your light til room 200 bc the rooms slowly get darker, dureing a-001 - a-200 is all bright rooms and has batteries
Tip 2- if a white face appears it'll freeze all entitys and you have to stop or you take damage, you can't get bandages or heals in rooms unlike doors and if you get to 1000 you get Night vision CAMERA (that is like X-ray camera to)

A-60: if you hear like a buzz wave type, hide
A-120: it will make a thump sound, you can get out till the sounds stop
A-IAHTE90: if he appears in your screen, don't move, even a muscle, hiding also counts as movement, it will do 90% of health,
theres also exit if you wanna get out around a-200
i'll give you guys a tip: to survive the stop guy, you just have to stay still, and to survive the other guy, first you need to know when it's coming, and to know when its coming, you will hear some kind of footsteps and when you hear it, you hide in some kind of closet. Thank you for reading this.
Simply when your at A-60 it means an entity similar to rush would appear more often and you'll have to listen to him because there is no hints for his arrival
For A-90 a completely new entity that to survive you must stop Or he will damage you and you'll see his face to know when to stop moving
At A-120 an entity similar to ambush will start appearing same with A-60 you gotta listen to him

Actually, start using flash light some more! Even though it costs 100 knobs, even at half, it still will be good! It uses so a little amount of battery and batteries are easy to find!
Edit: and don’t waste knobs on lighter. You can find them everywhere. The thing is that in drawers, it’s rare but I’ve found them before, but in those shelves that goes up and down, the lighter goes up to common, so yeah, lighter is useless as you can’t fuel it more, while flashlight is useful when exploring dark places or the rooms 100-200

halt is easy once you understand him, when in his hallway just continue walking until your screen has a flash of text, when that happens change directions
How to survive halt: If Halt is in front of you you have to go back wards and then if halt is behind you have to run staright.

3:29 Just a tip that I do so I'm not kicked out early! Is I don't hide until I hear rush coming then get out when I don't see it anymore! I don't even wait for it to leave the room before I'm out.
Also be careful of A-90, there will be a grey-ish face appear to the left of your screen, and when it does DO NOT MOVE (It takes lot of your HP)

It only has 2 entitys named a-60 and a-200 if u play the original game called rooms, All the rooms are endless and u cannot escape. if u play rooms inside of doors then there is 1000 rooms, There is 3 entitys called “A-60” “A-90” “A-120” A-60 is the same thing as rush u just hide in a locker, a-90 is kinda hard, if u see a black face around ur screen then stop moving before it shows the stop sign. A-120 is the same thing as a-60 and rush, If u get to a-1000 then u will get greeted the x-ray tablet it will show u items that is in the room. Also if u die by an entity then there is a new guiding light named “curious light” it doesnt really help but it is curious of what u died to and it cant really help that much. You cant also use the crucifix on a-60, a-90, and a-120. I hope this was really helpful so uhh goodluck
Halt is an interesting and annoying one- and since you don't know how to beat it yet this comment should tell you everything. And if not, at least the basic idea of Halt.
His goal is to make you well, halt. The words "Turn around" are meant quite litterally and it's safe to assume it's going to come from the front. If that happens, run backwards. Avoid touching it and getting close to it's hit box. You can however not need to turn around in this situation and run away facing towards Halt. It's first attack is almost always from behind the player, and it does make sure to tell you this so be careful. Remember to never use the closets in this room, as they do not work. The way I cheesed it ages ago also rarely works, which is to hold to the wall of the room and wait for him to go past. I don't reccomend that strategy as he can still technically hit you from there, it's much safer to just run away. Another thing is that you only need one player to reach the next door for you both to get out, as it teleports you all out. And yes, if you haven't tried it already the crucifix does infact work on them. Best of luck guys.
Also- if Alan or DJ does happen to see this, the safest hiding spot on room 50 is where Alan was going to go, on the right side of the door. As on rare occasions Figure can go through the space in-between the lock hallway and the area next to it.

So for Halt, you have to walk forward until you see a: "turn around" screen, it will only pop up for a split second so you have to pay attention. another way to tell if you have to turn around is if he pops up infront of you. thats pretty much how you beat halt. the screen and halt will keep popping up until you get to the next room where it will end. also the flashlight is the best light source. the candle tells you when an entity is nearby, and the lighter is just a lighter.
To defeat halt, you need to turn around when you see the screen flash a turn symbol. it's just a game of "follow what he says". do it for long enough and you finish it

rooms end at either around A-200 to A-220, using a hole in the wall, or go to room 1000 for the hardest and rarest achievement in the game, along with a night vision tablet that shows required items like keys, but use it in the rift at 100 as a trophy of your success and never take it out
To avoid halt, it tells you to turn away but you don't even need to. You just need to walk away from him, and the easiest way is to just walk backwards when he is in front of you, even if he catches you while walking backwards, he doesn't do damage unless you walk towards him. You just have to keep doing this until, little by little you reach the next door.
halt is easy, when you enter halt room, keep running ahead, when the message "Turn Around" appear, run backward, just keep changing the moving back and fort everytime that message appear till you escape the room, one thing: don't misunderstanding the message "run away" with "turn around"
When you encounter Halt, you will see an arrow telling you to turn around. Once you see that, go back towards to the previous room. When you see the arrow again, start going towards the next room again. Repeat until you get to the next room.

The Rooms monsters: A-60 is just rush but there are no loghts to flicker. A-90 makes u stop for a second. Once u c his face u must stop. A-120 is A-60 but u cannot get outa locker (if u wuna survive) while there is his sound. U can also hide in a locker forever. Good luck
Hi, I'm a helper just pay attention to what I'm saying, you'll have to reached 1000 rooms.
Meanwhile you'll be encountering 3 entities, A-60 (basically like rush but more agressive, the one you guys met), A-90 ( just like screech but if it appears on your screen, STOP MOVING, DON'T EVEN LOOK AROUND, LEAVE YOUR CONTROLLER and if it get you it takes 90% of your hp) and lastly A-120 ( also like ambush but only comes once or twice from the front and listen carefully for it arrival because it has a very silencing sound). You can hide in the closet for as long as you want to.
As you progress through the doors, the rooms will get darker until it's pitch black so better carry a torch and all is good to go.
*WARNING: THE CROSS DOES NOT WORK ON THESE THREE ENTITIES*

I love how they’re under the impression that it only goes to a 100 when it really goes to a dash 1000
So for halt, whenever you see a screen with a circle arrow, run, or glitched screen, you need to turn around and walk the opposite direction. You repeat this until you enter another door that leads you back to the main level. It's in my opinion the most confusing monster out there.

So I did a small research. halt loves to teleport. Let me explain. Whenever he appears or teleports in front of you, you must run in an opposite direction. Keep a distance, but keep in mind that once you have made certain distance he will teleport in front of you. In other words, keep running back and forth until you reach the next door. Simple as that. Just don't get carried away while running away from him, he wll teleport and get you
To survive Halt you need to turn around when green light flashes. You do that every time when it flashes green and apparently until you get out of the room, you take one step forward and one step back, like it says in the achievement.

U FINALLY DO IT YYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS :)
If you make it past the rooms, all the way to A-1000, there's a special tablet that you will get which highlights key items and can allow you to see your way through dark rooms, although it will not scare off Screech.
Once you die you will lose this tablet, but you can save it in the rift at the bottom of door 100 in order to use it on another run.

Understand that when that teal-blue flash happens, try to find him and WALK AWAY from him until it happens again. Hope that helps.
I know how to beat halt: walk forward, but as soon as you see the big c, walk backwards immediately. When you see the see again, keep walking forward. Repeat as needed
