    Perfect, meaningful, short comparison, it's worth a lot to me. Thank you! Your collection is amazing.

    I really like a focused and warmer beam. I have experience with the SST-20 in a Wurkkos TS21 an like it, but never noticed how tighter and seemingly throwier it can be. Very good.

    Nichia just looks so good. Man you have quite the flashlight collection there. I thought I saw a copper fw3a. I’m thinking that may be my next one. Thank you for all that you do and all the info you put out there. You always keep it entertaining and informative. 🙌

      And now with the 519A, they've never been better.

    I have both too, each in an S2+. The SST20 is such a tiny die that even with a small reflector, it's considerably throwier than the 219C, which in the S2+ has a more balanced profile.

      That's great news for me. I've been thinking on a S2+ (18350) with this emitter in 4000K. I aim for a more focused beam, but if i get more throw and medium outputs (20%, 35%), great.

    Cheule have you played with an Acebeam P15? Emitter swappable? I am thinking it could be made into a Cloud Defensive killer.

    how is the tint on the sst20? my fwaa is horrible in the 4k...

    • @cheule
      @cheule  Před rokem +3

      It was 0.0080, very disappointing. I swapped it immediately after this video. I was surprised it was so bad, because the FWAA triple I have is three neutral SST20. Slightly below BBL even.
      The NIchia 219C has pretty severe tint shift, but overall was neutral: 0.0006

      In high CRI warm white, which emitter will have the most neutral white? No pink or green tint, I heard the SST20 are rosy and the LH351D greenish?

      All my SST20s have been a tad above the BBL. My 2700K one makes a Nichia 519A look like a 219B.
      Meanwhile the 219C I have essentially straddles the BBL.
      (Both from Convoy, mind; Lumintop or others probably have it different.)
