Very nice! That gondola ride looked epic! And my favorite part was Wifey saying "Let's go!"
So happy for you and wifey to have this time together! So fun!!!
That Gondola actually opened just 2 weeks before you went there Bjorn, perfect timing.
12:45 just a side note. Don't plan to use a butane grill/stove below 10-15 °C.
While using it, the container gets colder, at about 0 °C there is no pressure.
At lower temperatures you should use propane.
Some tricks to improve performance: If you store the containers at room temperature you get more pressure from the higher temperature. Full container has more liquid to cool down, and will give more power for a longer time before they cool down.
I have used full container for higher power to fry bacon, then switch to a used container when I need less power to fry the eggs.
The Norway tourist board should be on your sponsor list. That's serious hiking country. Beautiful.
Great video Bjorn! My wifey and I enjoyed the scenery, it's beautiful! Thank you so much for allowing us to share part of your vacation!
Stunning view from up there, thank you for taking us on this trip.
Bjorn and his good wife have a pretty good existance. And one day I'll spend a couple of weeks chilling in Norway - been once but on a school trip at 13. An awful long time ago - when train and ferry was the only sensible way of getting around the place.
Hope you'll have fun here!
Wow, you got really lucky with the weather this weekend! Hope it's still nice today, enjoy!!
What a nice place. Thanks for the pictures.
wifey: lets go ! (Million dollar Voice) hahah
Looks beautiful up there!! And you got gorgeous weather!! Enjoy!!
Me and a buddy slept in the back of my Model S on the other side of the river from the campingspot from friday to saturday, and walked the trail past the gondol on saturday on our way down from Romsdalseggen, and I can confirm that the view and weather was perfect😊
Thank you for these amazing vacation videos!
Amazing scenery Bjorn. 🤗
Norway looks so beautiful in the summer sun , im so jealous . 🥰
Finally love this travel videos 😍😍😍😍😍😍 Great trip so far
Well done discussing the lowest consumption climate control setting when cool outside but hot in the car! I use that same setting to get 107 Wh/km (171 Wh/mi) on many trips in spring and early summer! Rear wheel Model 3 for the efficiency win!
So badly want a Tesla. That’s my next car. I have a Prius prime right now, I run it 99% on electric and dream of having my Tesla someday 😅
Go for a test drive ... its free ... Tesla love doing test drives for people.
IMO only reason to buy a Tesla is the supercharger network and Autopilot. If you can live without those I would consider something other than Tesla. I bought my Model3 in 2019 when there was no real competition in that price range. The market has changed a lot since then.
@@putrid_swamp_juice and you get much car for the price. If you compare with id3 Tesla is not that bad.
Test drive an E Niro. Cheaper than model 3 and super well equipped. And made by a manufacturer that knows how to put a car together. Tesla has great technology but very poor car build quality. Until the Berlin Y is available I’m not interested in a fremont or chinese tesla.
@@mrxmry3264 nah, the interior is nearly perfect
Wholesome video. Very nice!
really enjoy your stuff, love elec cars and enjoy the chance to look at Norway, a nation I really admire (I'm from the UK , enough said).
As someone living in Denmark, who loves travelling to Norway, I would love to see more road trip videos from you. Different trip destinations as a little bonus to the car stuff - awesome combo.
A spectacular view
Pretty awesome, as always! Thanks
Livin the life Bjorn! Good for you.
Keep up the great work Bjorn. Looking forward to news on your Ninja mansion.
Fantastic places! :-o
Road trips for the win!
Beautiful country and interesting video!
Un petit bonjour de france!!!!Thanks Bjorn ,now i want to go to norway with my model 3!!!
Really beautiful - Norway tourism board should fund your videos.
Best video from Bjørn, ever !!!
Looks a beautiful part of the world. Niiiice!
Dont say sorry for family with kids. One day, its you and wifey with kids :) Every parent know how it is with noisy kids. So they dont mind in the same way others do. I guess. Love the Model3 SR in its price range. What a car for the money
Canoo with human propulsion🤣: nice see you guys are enjoying your time together! 😉
Nice trip! I was surprised you said "burn those calories" instead of "watt hours".
The Romsdalen Gondola-ride with mountain view can even be a video on it's own, since it is quite new many random viewers could be interested I think.
Hello Bjorn,
you don´t have to say sorry for families with kids. Kids are our Future, and we are all have made lot´s of noise, when where young....
Wow!👍 Norge är otroligt vackert😍 sådan skillnad mot Skåne👀 kul att få följa med er på resan 🌹
Nice,I need a holiday now.
Like your your tube videos with your wife : ) I am from from Vancouver, Canada and I have a 2020 Tesla extended, all the best brother : )
Have to go to Norway!
With my SR+ I keep cabin heat protection setting on No A/C mode and as long as I wake the car with the app in the morning it will keep the car at 40C/105F max with just the fan. If I don't wake it with the app in the morning I've noticed that it will let the cabin go up to 48C/120F+ in our 30C+ temps here in So Cal.
Very true. I have been using the ventilate button to crack the windows which I find also keeps the temp down to 105 F.
You should make a Norway EV tourist guide with route guides and everything. It would be awesome.
What a view, beautiful country.
Canoeing - person in front mainly powers, person in rear mainly steers. But don’t paddle backward to turn, instead do wide sweeping strokes on opposite side to desired direction of travel. Better still, learn to J-stroke.
Majestic❤ views❤tca lovely maam/sir❤
It doesn't look like Norway will be open for tourism this summer, I was looking forward to a roadtrip to the North Cape.
Good Apitate, bro
Omg how do you switch the passenger-side air vent OFF?!!
This changes everything
I prefer to use the vent control.
Great to see 'wifey' again!!👍
If you use a J-stroke you can keep your paddle on one side
Wow!
Just to say. Åndalsnes is not a stop for Hurtigruta. And the first boat MS Spitsbergen is not that old, it’s from 2009. The second one is MS Fram from 2007. None of them are used between Bergen and Kirkenes more but used as expedition ships. That’s probably the reason they are docking in Åndalsnes
Spitsbergen has been used as Coastal liner on the Bergen - Kirkenes route for Hurtigruta. Due to Covid most cruise and expedition vessels are laid-up at the moment.
Always Buy Chocolate works for me too 🤣
Hey @Bjørn Nyland. I have a question for you / your partner - Abetterrouteplaner. You shared a Video a few weeks back where you highlighted the implementation of Abetterrouteplaner in the Polestar 2! Im curious if you could tell me if there is a way to make the app work on the XC40 P8 Recharge? (Since its the same system). Thanks in advance!
Bjorn again!
I love you guys and your channel of course! Pretty unfair to be Asian: you can eat mountains of food and remain slim 😂
Hi Bjørn,
do you think Byton will make it?
Whats the differences between the Venezia gondola and. Those? 😅🤣
My ancestors are from Norway, came to the US around the turn of the century. I need to find out why they left.
looking forward to your review of the BYD HAN OR its suv
Would you reccomend the SR+ for Norwegians or would you say the 100k to upgrade is worth it?
Also i am looking at some 2019 LR for the same price as a 2021 SR+, would you say the uograde that has been done on the 2021 I worth doing uogrades for?
Go for SR+
Good morning??? Yo-what’s uppp!!! :)
How high is the summit?
Also, how many KM from the ground (if one were to hike)?
The hike is popular and takes around 1,5 hours for normal people. Hight difference around 700 m. Viewpoint «rampestreken» on the way up.
It's not very far but it's a steep hike.
Wauuu sikke en udsigt, i bor skønt i Norge, barsk natur, men også en natur man ikke finder i en hovedstad
Maybe I would get the Ioniq 5 and then can use the car as a powersource to operate the grill.
A B C = Anthon Berg Chokolade (Chocolate) 😁
I love brownies and ice cream
Sweet! Make a voice over next time when you have loud people around 🙃
Nope. I want to capture the ambient sounds.
@@bjornnyland haha :D
Best kids TV: ”Brödrene Gaus, Roms og Brumund Dahl...”
Terrain for flying
Would you not open your windows an inch or so to allow hot air to leave the inside of the car?
And allow insects and schmutz inside? No thanks.
@@bjornnyland i forgot about the schmutz! Love your videos!
I now have a habit of saying fricking fossils every time i see or hear them
Hi Bjorn, are sad maionez? (Майонез) on russian language ?
No one beats belgian friesssssssss !! Haha, velsmakende !!
Belgium is where French Fries originally came from.
belgian fries are another experience alltogether. Everybody who can visit, must try it. (and I'm not even belgian).
8:26 looks like something worth hiking.
Where is this?
Åndalsnes, Norway.
Search for "Rampestreken" on google maps. There's a well established hiking route up there. Hiked up there in 2018.
I had no idea they built a gondola there though.
Awesome ❤️ love to wifey
According to Google Maps there is a charging station right at the camp by the main building.
That information is incorrect.
yeah, give it to me; not to have to rely anymore on an office job wasting 40-50 hours weekly 😝
What is that phone holder?
It is this: www.biltema.no/en-no/office---technology/mobile-phone-accessories/mobile-phone-mounts/universal-mobile-phone-mount-2000040099
Doesn't have to commute for 50 hours a week anymore, but spends twice that time in cars now anyways 😂👌
Is that lake water or salt?
Salt
Where is this exactly?
Åndalsnes
Now in the morning... the car shows 13:45.
Story of my life
2 kW for the AC? What the heck? A normal room AC for much bigger rooms uses under 1 kW.
25 to 28 deg C is fine. You don't need 22 deg C as that is already very cool - that is interior airconditioning temp in Asia !! For lunch, super charging is too fast !! Watching a movie, Super charging is too fast. AC charging is better. Then top off with a Super charger. That's my personal experience.
Looks like Gammon Steak ... Ham steak.
In hot countries where you are used to heat yes, 22 deg C may be very cool but in northern Europe where winter temps fall to -22 or lower 22oC is a comfortable temperature and 25-28 too hot.
Have anyone noticed alien in water?
ABC= Always Be Canoeing!
13:24 looks like pig meat... but what do I know.
Yes, it is pork cutlets.
