Here are things that you can do while doing your bachelors:
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA will solidify your knowledge and skills in business management, financial analysis, strategic management, costing, etc.
- Doing internships in consulting or any data and analytics related company will help you get additional experience
- proficiency in software tools such as MS excel, Visio, JIRA, Power BI, etc.
- Online courses/certificates related to business analytics (Udemy, Coursera)
- some coding experience will definitely add value (SQL, Java, Python) (these are also available in Udemy or Coursera)
After completion of your bachelors with industry experience you can get these certifications which will help you standout:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA)
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) offered by INFORMS.

If you do well in your undergraduate studies, yes you can find a scholarship and I know many students who have done that.

I don't think SLIIT has a foundation year program. You can look into other private universities that offer foundation year programs.

Is software engineering have demand in Australia? Because I am thinking of to migrate Australia to do software engineering next July intake .
You can find this here: immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list If software engineering is under skilled occupation list, you will have no problem finding a job. This list changes from time to time, so you will have to check this at the time of applying.

You can try to do a university foundation year. You will only require OL qualifications
I know students who took this path and doing very well now (e.g., manager Mercedes Benz, Australia). So if you focus well on your undergraduate studies from here onwards, you can achieve anything!

I am an undergraduate student in faculty of computing SUSL. I like to join data science filed in future and also I hope to start Business studies degree program.is it worth for my future ambition?
Business studies can be useful if you are thinking of starting your own company with your knowledge in computer science/data science. Everything you learn will be beneficial one way or the other in future. You will not see it now, but you may see how the dots connect in future
If you really want to learn something, go for it!

AI tools will be common in future, so you will have to learn to work with them or take use of them. Don't think of it as a threat but think of it as a tool

What about other students who got C3 or above & do not have rich father? 😮😅
You don’t have to be RICH to get into SLIIT. Because SLIIT offer scholarships if you have good AL results and then if you score good grades in every academic year. I know students who have received these scholarships through out the degree from start to finish.
If you have a poor dad, try to get good grades (above 3.8 GPA) for every semester. SLIIT will give u half and full scholarships based on your grades. So you can come study here for FREE

@@chathuralakshan479 there will be an impact on certain software development tasks for sure but everyone will have to adapt. For example AI can automate repetitive tasks in software development, such as code generation, testing, and bug detection. At the same time, there is an increasing demand for engineers with expertise in AI, machine learning, and data science. This is why I said data science will be a better specialization considering the current trend.
