"With a lot of the world building left to viewers imaginations, Gilbert’s film doesn’t seem too concerned with ensuring all the pieces of the puzzle are present and correct (even the titular “Line” is never fully explained), instead using intrigue and emotion to hook its audience in.

I just got into these at 91 years old...AND I LOVE 'EM !!
That ending was DARK
Yeah, I'm not sure how i feel about that. It has left me very unsettled and as a parent, has made me ask myself some questions i hope i will never have to answer. All in all though, a great film! Well shot, written and acted!
Not quite sure why this is being billed as science fiction.
It's set in an alternative future. It's a subtle sci-fi, but still a sci-fi.
Amazing acting
That was good but DAMN
So dramatic, and so emotionally bereft. This made me feel NOTHING because I don't know what happened. 🤷 She traded some random boy we know nothing about for a girl. Okay. Whatever. "With a lot of the world building left to viewers imaginations" - Yeah, well maybe that was a mistake. Doing in-media-res is tricky because while it can be engaging, it can also leave viewers confused and fall flat. This was an example of the latter. 😒
