    yes do guinea fowls, guinea fowls are delicious and fall under the category of exotic birds among poultry farmers, another thing why many people choose guinea fowl over chicken is because guinea fowls, unlike chickens, are disease-resistant, they can resist most diseases targeting chickens and other poultry birds, they rarely get sick, that's why those in the exotic rearing and breeding of turkeys and ducks usually also sell guinea fowls.

    You can use warm water to keep the humidity level just put a little and see how far gauge goes up instead of putting a lot . I normal use my chickens to hatch guinea chicks but most time when I have too much eggs I use a incubator. I have alot of chicks right now

  • @chego199
    @chego199 Před 3 lety +3

    From my view, that drinker is a bit high for the chicks that's they won't drink maybe. Another thing is, place stones or marbles in the drinker through to avoid drowning. Otherwise, you're doing a very good job brother. I'm really following om your footsteps all the way from South Africa. Keep it up and all the best with your farming practices.

    I do guinea fowls in Kenya too

  • @tefocharlesmodise9937

    During the holiday a friend was at in the rural area and found a wild guinea nest. He brought me 11 eggs to incubate. I managed to candle them yesterday and it seems they are healthy and developing well.
    I have a very serious concern about the amount of inbreeding that is associated with domesticated guinea fowl. I think raising the wild birds with domesticated ones will really help improve my genetic pool.
    What do you think?
