Bob Johnson LIVE at The Globe

This is the second half of the Johnson & Johnson & Johnson Spring Concert at the Globe Theater in Greenville Illinois. Bob was an award winning soccer coach at Greenville College. His side interest in songwriting has a certain similarity to Steve Martin. Bob's silver hair and flair for politically incorrect lyrics were kind of a burr in the saddle of the Christian College's public image, but they eventually came around because of his persistent charm. Bob retired from the college and travels but sometimes comes back to town. The video kind of cuts off at the end, maybe a camera battery issue?

So fun to see (Dr.-Prof. former Viet Nam War Vet ) Bob Johnson, G.C. Class of 68 --always a burr under the saddle at G.C. --before becoming my roomie's husband! He was a member of the college a capella choir, I believe --as a student --nickname "Lassie" for the hairdo ? shock of blonde hair flying as he whizzed down the campus street on his skate board --surfer style in the Beach Boys' era. He surprised people with his acting acumen in a serious drama --his senior year, i believe -- Didn't know he would eventually write songs!
