Glad you like this lessons. There will be quite of few parts to chapter 1. 8 more to be exact. There is a lot of topical subjects I will focus on in that chapter, which is why their are so many parts. Chapter 2 will have less parts, but I am not finished teaching it yet. I am teaching James on Wednesday nights at church. The class format takes longer to go through the material because of discussions and questions. I also like the Book of James. It is the first time I have taught it.
Hay Brother Calvin. I recently went out of town and attended various Churches of Christ. I am a Christian from my youth. I understand and believe the Gospel as the ONLY power of GOD TO SAVE MAN. I also believe anywhere is home if CHRIST my LORD is there among the us However visiting various congregations, none of them saluted me nor one another with a "holy kiss." Although GOD'S KINGDOM is SIRITUAL are the Churches of Christ adopting more and more this world's traditions of men greeting one another with handshakes?
The emphasis is on greeting one another rather than the how. While some cultures still greet with a kiss, you will find most in the USA greet with a handshake, maybe a hug, or with a friendly verbal greeting. So, the important part is the greeting, but not the specifics on how the greeting is done.
Keep up the good work that you're going for the Lord, I enjoy your studies, thank you.
James is one of my favorite Books. I've been listening to these at least twice. I don't want to miss something. Thanks for these lessons.
