- That's right! It's time for the bookshelf tour update! In the first 7 minutes I do a quickie tour of my shelves overall, then for the rest of the video I go through each shelf, book by book, showing the covers. GET COMFORTABLE. IT'S GONNA BE A LONG ONE.

Jesus that was a long but extremely appreciated bookshelf tour. I love how you made a comment or two about certain books. Loved it!
Here is what I am going to do:
I am going to figure out where you live (creepy, much? eh)
Then I will make my way to this room.
I will camp out in front of the bookshelves... and eventually make myself a personal residence - probably in the opposite corner so I can stare at them for hours on end (may need to rearrange your stuff if need be).
I will then proceed to read every one of your books for the rest of my life.
I need those shelves with those books. So much beauty right there.
You know,you remind me of Lily from How I Met Your Mother by your appearance.Very close resemblance :D
But you will never get the amazing feeling of running your fingers through the pages. The smell of a recently bought book. How proud you feel when you watch all of your books and say "yes, I spent time in that". AND OF COURSE, THAT OVERWHELMING AND AWESOME FEELING WHEN YOU ARE JUST ENTERING A BOOK SHOP AND YOU SPEND A WHOLE AFTERNOON LOOKING FOR BOOKS. Besides, you don't need to charge the books' battery, you can read them when you want to.
I love your entire collection of books... mostly because I have read most of them before. It is truly amazing
AND A CLARINET!!! (my gosh did I absolutely love that part!) Congratulate you on a great start to a library :D keep it up!
Your so specific when organizing your books lol I do that with my dvds. I'm so jealous! You have your own library! I only have like a little over half of one of your bookshelves. Watching this gave me ideas for new books to check out since I get overwhelmed by all the choices whenever I want to buy a new book.
For me, this was TOTALLY worth watching for! I love your vids Kat!
43 minutes of greatness! Books galore! I just want to go to your room and stare at your shelves and then touch all of the books...is that weird? You seriously own all the books i love and all the books I want!
It made me so incredibly happy to see that little green bow from my Christmas present to you on your wall! That is so sweet! And of course, the Black Jewels trilogy is the most gorgeous book on your shelves. I am so envious of your personal library and would love to hang out there! I would love to see inside of those notebooks!
Whenever I see a book on your shelf that I've read before, I feel proud for some reason.
I'm growing my collection of books. I have about 30-37 rite now. I love watching this video. It helps me add more books to my list of tbr ^ __ ^
Finally after so many months of trying to make a bookshelf tour I'm finally going to post my own bookshelf tour soon. Thank You Kat for encouraging me to make my own finally.

I thought watching someone owning so many books would make me jealous but I felt so happy right now! You are so lucky to own so many books! My mom said if I keep getting books she's gonna burn or sell my old ones :(
my mum says that she wont let me get any more when my bookcases are full. she is evil. at least i have a kindle

Fantastic Tour! Love how you actually show all the covers! Most tours people just list the titles touching the spines, which as much as I love books, can get boring. Showing the covers kept the video engaging! Plus your voice demands attention. (In a good way) :D

Fallen is a really good book and series. I read them in 7th grade and really enjoyed them. I recently read them again and still thought they were really interesting.

Hey love your library, thought you had more books than me for a while, such a fun collection, i tend to go wild myself in my book addiction, I believe I have more than 500 books in library stuffed into two shelf and and I have another 244 books on my nook, at 19 i thinks thats an OK collection, though I know I need a lot more. Hope your library continues to grow.

OMG YOU HAVE HEAPS OF BOOKS LIKE ME!! I don't have the biggest collection of books in my room but I have heaps more in my attic. Reading is my life. I lose myself in a good book!! Nowadays people aren't reading as much and are using technology more. I don't understand it because reading is the best thing ever! Your video was awesome- the best bookshelf collection I've ever watched!!
like seriously. wish i was you. you have so many book and am so jealous like no joke. i want to read mostly every book you have. i am only 13 so i like can't just buy books all the time :( and also i am in Australia and on amazon the postage is like really expensive so there might be a book for $7 and i have to pay like $10 postage so yeah... annoying as hell. so sometimes i really wish i lived in america or at least had relatives in america
At least u can speak the language ..in my country there are like 20 ya books...and I just watch booktubers and I get so mad..

I love the Rachel Cain Morganville Vampire Series the first book is kinda slow but the second book hooked me.I just love her take on the Vampire.
I aspire to have a collection like this one day. Not all hardcovers because I don't care much for them but to have the sheer quantity of books!

Why do some people buy books that they have already read? Just wondering. I personally don't read a book again once I've read it because I already know whats going to happen.
because when you love books so much having your own copy is an amazing feeling :)
I reread my books because while I may know what happens its fun to dive into the story again and maybe remember things you have forgotten. Its great to fall in love with the characters of your books all over again and know why you love theses books. Plus, as fast as i read, though kaytastic reads faster, I have to conserve money and reread my books when i can.
And because if you read again you can see details that you didn't see the last time you read the book
Also, the books owned are literally there with you your whole life if you so choose, they provide a great opportunity to reminiscent about certain time periods or memories.Plus, to go back to a favourite old copy with some notes or underlining that shows what had touched /influenced/ made one think in the past and to get to revisit that, is the best feeling. (thats also why some people like buying second hand copies too). =)
I think I buy the books just so you can reread and live the experience of the book again

I have to say, being a fan of Pretty Little Liars, I would say get five through eight when you can. The first eight books a very good and go nicely together. Beyond that its so-so. Nice book collection by the way.

This is true, but the benefit to ebooks (or an ereader) is that you can fit lots of books in the space of a tiny book. Often times I find that I'll buy the first book in a series because it looks interesting in the store, and then buy the rest of the series on my kindle because I know now that I like the series and want to read the others.
Real books are great, but ebooks are too. I like to make the best of both worlds.

see your books are on the shelf with alot of room above them now if you move the shelf spacers up more you can probably get another row on it. inless you want every shelf every bookcase even
I love 'Eyes Like Stars' and 'Crewel'. They are two of my favorite books! You should get the 'Tiger's Curse' series~ they are amazing!
They look like the ones from Ikea called Billy (at least that's what they're called in Germany), you can also get them in white and several shades of brown (and there's also a limited edition which includes green and yellow)
And people tell me not to buy any more books XD
Keep your passion for reading girl! Books are treasures mean't to be loved and shared^-^
