  • @shovelhead8
    @shovelhead8 Před 6 lety +1

    Would probably toast a sandwich up pretty quick. I remember doing this on an old electric heater. Noodles are a quick and cheap way to pound down 400+ calories, plus the heat from the broth. That would be a good car camping heater like you said. Thank you for the video, Wayne

    • @kullcraven
      @kullcraven  Před 6 lety

      Thanks, it seems not to like the bitter cold tho, since its gas. Tho for chilly nights and so on should be fine and gives off decent heat. ATB man. Happy holidays.

    • @shovelhead8
      @shovelhead8 Před 6 lety

      A trick i saw once was to tape a couple of hand or food warmer pads to the gas cylinder. This will give enough heat to the butane cylinder to make it run better. Thank you for the reply, Wayne

    • @choitotheworld
      @choitotheworld Před 5 lety

      It's not a good heater for ice fishing. The boiling point of butane is higher than propane and it will shut off when it's cold.

    • @kullcraven
      @kullcraven  Před 3 lety

      It does work pretty decent for cooking and that was its design. I always would take care with any cooking stove of course and use as its meant to be used. Thanks for the watch.

    thanks Mr. Gadget(and no, that is not a knock against your obvious and excellent skill set). there's no info if the canisters are proprietary or universal. ps what pack is that?

    Been trying to decide between Cooking on a Heater or creating decent Heat from a Cooker getting the best of both worlds and killing 2 birds with 1 stone

    • @kullcraven
      @kullcraven  Před 3 lety +1

      This one i have used abit but it mentions to use in a well ventilated area, so a tent that is ventilated, and can cook on it. In real cold temps the gas doesnt perform real well as most gas stoves dont, i have found. :) Thanks for the watch.
