    Thanks John, I'd never heard of a Mamluk deck before. They're Islamic, interesting, intrinsic but I think difficult to read and I think the Islamic world had different interpretations, than European Tarot cards. The Visconti tarot is based on the Tarot de Marseille, but more artistic and elaborate. Did one of your descendants from Italy create this deck? 😉 Anyway, thank you it was fascinating, La Forza dei Visconti.👊🏼🃏🤗

      I have no known ties to the Visconti's in the 1400s. The Visconti decks preceded Marseille as far as I know. The Mamluk cards were playing cards and likely not created for divination. Thanks for your comments as always!
