    Just purchased a 2022 KLR with a MEDIUM V-Stream already installed. Very impressed. I am 6'2"...so I took it up a notch and mounted it in the upper brackets. For me, it is perfection. No helmet buffeting at all.

    Wow sir, awesome vid! Comparing the three NC V Streams to the oem is brilliant! I'm 6'1" and am picking up my new KLR 650 Adventure in a few days and I already have the tall V Stream on hand to put on before I drive out the door. Thanx again for a job well done!
    Btw, beautiful quaint little town you live in. I love it!

    Traded my Harley Road King for 2 Adventures, straight across, June '22, giving one to my son. We're both 6'1" so we got the National Cycle talls and the bracket in the high position. Best way to go. Shoots the wind clean over our head.
    In Jan '23 I got another KLR, the S model and also put a tall on it. Sitting upright, I can see over the top of the screen. If I slouch, I see right below the top which is no problem for me. Overall, the tall screens look really really cool and, for $150, are effective!

    I have never heard someone get so excited over a windshield! lol Great review though. I love my New KLR but wind is bad. I think i will go with the medium size, hope that works and i don't need the tall one; but i am sure it will make a big improvment. Great review

      Lol, I am still excited....lol....that stupid OEM lookthrough joke they call a windshield only pixxxd ne off. I just got back from a 1300 mile trip with the tall and it was awesome. I hope you enjoy your wind screen it truly is a great windshield. Thanks for watching and dont forget to follow my journey to the Arctic in july. Www.arcticadventure22.com

    I tried the short tinted v stream on my 22 klr 650 and put the windshield bracket to the tall setting. I works great by it's making my aria xd4 peak on the helmet vibrate above 50 mph so I'm going to try the medium size next.

    An easy and cheap solution is a windshield riser and wind deflector. I’m 6’1” and using these two options are phenomenal.
    Cost was around $50.

    • @rideforveterans7653
      @rideforveterans7653  Před rokem +1

      True, but that doesn't channel the wind around your shoulders and it pretty much limits your adjusting capabilities. I love my vstream.

    Bought a new KLR and put 5000+ miles on it then sold it. Just never felt safe or comfortable on it. At 500 pounds it was no fun riding off road.😖

  • @sthawk01
    @sthawk01 Před 2 lety +2

    You mentioned that the mid length puts the wind way above your head. I'm 6'2", do you think the air would be over my head with the mid or should I just play it safe and get the Tall?

    • @rideforveterans7653
      @rideforveterans7653  Před 2 lety +1

      I think it would go right above or barley touch the top. You would not get any buffeting that's for sure. The tall certainly would put it over your head. Remember, in the video I have them in the highest setting on the KLR. Thanks for your comment.

      The way I sit, I end up looking thru mine about 2 inches or so below the top of it most of the time. There is no difference in my sight picture looking thru it verses looking over it.
      I couldn’t be happier with mine.

    • @rideforveterans7653
      @rideforveterans7653  Před 2 lety

      I would rec. Tall. The mid would work however it would allow wind to hit the top of your helmet. And I mean the top not in you face.

      @@rideforveterans7653 Thanks for the reply. I have a 2022 KLR and I'm new to having a windshield on my bike. I definitely see a need to get some more wind protection. The reason I am considering the Mid is because I want to look over the screen and not through it. I'm thinking that might be the case with the High....but this will offer more wind protection. Any thoughts/advice? Appreciate it.

    • @rideforveterans7653
      @rideforveterans7653  Před 2 lety +1

      @@thesweetlife3607 yes, absolutly...in that case get the mid. It will be perfect...the high I feel will be right below your eye line, so that will be to close. I would say for sure get the mid size.
