- Asalamualaikum all, this is my updated 2021 skincare routine for clear, acne free glowing skin. I share both my morning skincare routine and my nighttime skin care routine as well as some of the new anti ageing products that I have now included.
Keep in mind that a lot of the products I am now using because I am above 25.
If you are younger, you don't need this amount of products in your skincare routine.
You can search up my past skincare videos and see how simple my skincare routine was.
I also have to say, I do have genetics on my side because my mother who only cleanses and moisturises her skin at 56 still has beautiful uniform skin so take that into consideration when comparing.
I hope you all enjoy the video and take some tips and products that can give you clearer, younger and glowy skin.

Wa’alaikumu as-salam! I recently started wearing niqab and I noticed how soft as clear my skin is now. Alhamdullilah, I usually have clear skin with few blemishes but the niqab has helped smooth so much out. I wear a simple moisturiser and sunscreen and it’s working well for me

For suncreens, my favourite are the brands PURITO (the uncented one for winter) and MISSHA sungel (very light for summer) for our chocolate skins. They are both SPF 50 and they dont leave a white cast.
Love love niacinamide, I started using it last year ! I strongly recommend GOOD MOLECULES Niacinamide Brightening toner, I like their Niacinamide Serum too. For some reason, I find the toner works better than the serum ^^

Also, sister dotn forget to use a lipbalm WITH SPF just liek a sunscreen wiht spf for the face. The lips kan also get fine lines, uneven tone, so its important to use a lipbalm on day with spf 30 or 50 that can protect ur lips from the sunlight.

Salaam Nafisa , hope you are well I just wanted to know if you can use the Indian clay mask if you have dry skin?
Walaikumsalam, yes it is suitable for all skin types just make sure you moisturise very well after use and mix it with only water if you have dry skin. It only needs a very little amount of 💦 to make into a paste and apply a thick layer to your skin.

sister have a look into Mandelic acid as its been shown that glycolic acid can lead to hyperpigmentation for people of colour, mandelic acid is much gentler and safer for our skin tone

Thank you. Regarding weightless, it wasn't intentional, usually lose weight after Ramadan but honestly I have made lifestyle changes that have helped my life. I eat to nourish my body and I've made simple changes to my diet. I avoid too much fried foods, drink lots of water, I drink smoothies and herbal supplements. Regarding affordable hyperpigmentation skincare I honestly suggest African black soap, that soap really does work, after 6 months to one year, you will notice a difference with your skin being more uniform and it's super affordable if you buy it from local african stores or on Amazon. After that, sunscreen is a MUST! It gives your skin further protection. Also, try to include salicylic acid into your skincare because it will prevent acne which will prevent scaring and less chance of darker patches. Hope that helps.

If I'm away from home, I carry my sunscreen and a small moisturiser in my bag and re-apply after making wudu.

Try to use your fingers than the palms when applying your products,palms tends to absorb your products.
Assalamualaikum sister i liked your videos . They are beneficial. I would like to ask one thing: Should we wash our face with cleansing gel before wudu ? Should we use sunscreen after wudu ? I have looking fore the answer but i did not find. Your skin is glowing Mashaallah . Greetings from Turkey.
Walaikumsalam, as far as I know, there is no need to wash your face with cleanser before wudu so you go ahead with wudu as usual. As for the sunscreen question, it is best to reapply your sunscreen after wudu. Hope that helps insha'Allah. Stay blessed

Selam sister..thanks a lot for taking the time to share your routines that you use on your skin..In Islamic culture there are clear set up rules such as:--- no tattoos of any kind including the temporary tattoos and or Hena tattoos....There are no nose rings and or earrings ,no rings on the tummy . THE ONLY RING THAT IS ALLOWED IS one silverstain medium thickness ring on the fourth finger right hand for those that are married, so it is the wedband *** without stones and or other engraved stuff that can make our other fingers& skin hurt while rubbing our hands and having that wedding band on...so in short no gold wrings and it must feel so comfortable while wearing it on...As far as for our skin routine: it should be no chemicals from CLINIQUE AND OR ANY OTHER COSMETIC CORPORATIONS THAT USE CHEMICALS ....AS PER THE RULES OF THE ISLAMIC CULTURE also :NEITHER SHEA BUTTER MUST BE USED TOO JUST LIKE THE GRASS THAT IS FOR SALE AT THE SUPERMARKET ,BUT WE ALL KNOW IT MUST BE USED TO FEED THE COWS AND OTHER ANIMALS , so we should understand that anything will be offered to us as good in this world ,but we only are to purchase the one for the humans and that are fresh.Pur duty is to ask lawmakers to ban the selling of this crap too......AS MUSLIMS WE SHOULD BE VERY VERY DILIGENT AND USE SELECTIVE LLOGIC TO THINK THINGS THROUGH BEFORE OPENING OUR MOUTHS AND RECOMMENDING STUFF..NEITHER SHOULD WE MIX THE OTHER NON MUSLIM TRADITIONS THAT COME FROM IGNORANCE LIKE THE HENNA TATTOOS WITH THE ISLAMIC CULTURE..HAVING A HIJAB*** ON** REQUIRES A LOT of knowledge and preparation.
