You just took me down memory lane. My Cuban aunt on my dad's side used to make this but the seasoning she used was slightly different than yours but still basically the same. I haven't had this meal in years!! I think I have all the ingredients to make this meal tonight. 😋 😃

i made this last night and still have left overs me and my husband think its really good the only thing is for my preference i added salt because it made it a tad better but id def will be making this again

Lol😆...everything came out yummy but I noticed that the ground beef onces cooked it will be oily so i have to drain the oil out of it or it will look and taste ugly next day.

I'm working on a good stand by dish to keep in the freezer for shut-ins, or sick friends, or whatever occasion. I think this is a good start. I live in GA and so I'll tweak it a little for Deep Southern palates. But, this looks like something that I can blend with rice, freeze and then pull out when needed and the family can have a one dish meal. Thanks. Good job!

Amazing recipe. I only skipped the green bell pepper because I didn’t have any, and added ground oregano along with a bit of garlic Powder. The bbq sauce really pulls the whole thing together, gave it such a nice touch. I loveddd it.

I thought from the pic this was corned beef stew. The way you did this is the same way we cook it in Sierra Leone. I also know jamaicans cook this too. We use canned beef(corned beef) and tomato paste instead. We also add pepper to it Looks good.👌🏾
