Truthfully it is sad that Elvis always needed a woman with him and he treated them all like gold in many ways but unfortunately not one of them could count on him for any long-term loyalty. And he unfortunately assumed that many of these women didn't have career goals of their own. At the same time it's heartwarming to hear from many of them that he was as well very respectful and kind in many ways. What's tragic is that many of these women struggled to heal emotionally after being with him. Truthfully I feel that Elvis just never healed from the passing of his own mother. He always needed female companionship not only at a cost to himself but the many women who loved him as well. Life's lessons I guess 💜💌

The first year he was gone I don't remember much about.Just stayed busy repairing and painting the house. Yard work,Anything to stay busy! At night would think I heard him and have to remind myself he's gone. He also died of cancer. I retired a yr early to take care of him and spend as much time as I could with him. The Drs gave him 4mos to live but he lived almost a yr and I'll always be grateful.Three days after burying him I was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time. I'm very grateful that didn't happen until he passed. He died at home like he wanted and our children and grands were here and got to say goodbye, even though he wasn't conscience, I've always believed they can still hear you. I'm sorry for your loss and hope you have family to lean on. My son's have been a blessing for me.

He was totally generous and spent millions in his lifetime on people he cared for. He never quite figured out monogamy. Though with Linda he was monogamous their first year together. Because they were together 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and the entire 365 days. Elvis was Elvis and there's never been anyone like him, before, during, or since, so it's easy to say he was a pig, he was this, he was that, when we have no one to compare with him, who was like him (as famous, as sought after, etc.) I mean, who could have been a better partner than him, that was like him... no one, because no one like him existed.

Did she really not realize why he picked her ? Lol
 I mean .. Jeez
there was a reason it didn’t go any further. Bless her heart lol. I also don’t buy her story that the taxi just dropped her at the gates for no reason .. she definitely wanted to there - to me that part of the story seems off . Just my opinion.
I think EP saw her as trying to get up in show business off of him .. when he saw her with Burt Reynolds’s it reinforced his beliefs . He really wanted a woman to be his momma .. his one and only even though he knew he couldn’t be there for them in a traditional sense . He just needed a momma to trust and rely on - Cilla was the closest match to his momma that he ever had and he knew that .So after her I feel he continued to try and find another Cilla .. which , the 70’s didn’t have those types of women anymore - the woman “roll” changed . and the little lady at home cooking cleaning barefoot and pregnant era was over .. in EP eyes he was always looking for that roll again and he enjoyed going through all the auditions for that roll lol .. I don’t really blame him for that . It’s how all the mens men were back then ..
Eventually Thankk God !men have changed who they want women to be to them but every man would love to be spoiled and treated like a KING , and every woman would love to be spoiled and treated like They are the queen...Elvis lived a life that I don’t think any one of us could even imagine .. he lived 3 lifetimes in his short 42 years , and even though I love him and wish he could have lived a long healthy life .. it just couldn’t end like that for such a HUGE Larger than life man like him .
The lifestyle, the demands of him and the responsibility he had for others lives were sooo big it wasn’t sustainable for anyone ! he personified the sex, drugs and rock and roll lifestyle . It had to end prematurely, the only thing I wish would have changed in the end was him being totally alone when he died .. I wish he could have been at least next to someone .. that’s what he craved .. intimacy , closeness - sharing his life and everything he had - the way he went out was just not what he deserved .. I know his lifestyle contributed to it - but if he could have just passed away in his sleep next to someone or something I think it would make it easier to handle for me personally. It just makes me think ho
The manner of his death always bothered me and made me wonder how alone he really was. The rooms could be filled with people but I wonder if he felt alone? he didn’t like to be alone . He loved life all around him . The experience of life , the sound of life .. just to end up alone on a floor hurts my heart still to this day for him ! For Lisa Marie .. it just hurts as if he were my family member. And I feel his death was just such a damn travesty because he was so full of life and larger than life always - but to all of his fans ,, he will continue to live on through us . I’m 51 and my love for him I share with my kids and they love him and they will share him with their kids .. so because of that ELVIS LIVES ! He may have left the building , and this earth - but will always remain in our hearts and souls forever for generations to come !
      Rest In Peace EP. đŸŒčâšĄïž

I also think Priscilla Presley is a genius. When Elvis died he didn’t have much money. He would constantly give money to friends and family and his manager took a 50% cut from everything Elvis earned. Priscilla stepped in and turned Graceland into a tourist destination. @@Wildlife_SA. all this information is up on graceland's website. Lisa Marie Presley owns 100% of Graceland, the 13 acre grounds and all of Elvis's possessions (meaning his clothes, awards, his Vehicles etc). It all belongs to her.. basically everything that has sentimental value is what she kept. What she did sell in 2005 was 85% of Elvis Presley Enterprises and the CEO is Jack Soden who is a long time friend, a bank investor who helped Priscilla keep Graceland open when Elvis first died. The business became too big for them, they needed help managing Elvis events and other issues pertaining to the estate that Priscilla nor Lisa could manage 100% without help. To me it always made sense. Are you going to keep dealing with issues in "your house" on your own or at some point are you going to call in professionals to help you with the upkeep? It was a smart business move.
