- Crappie fishing from the Bank in Summer can be tough. It will be a lot better with the right Crappie tackle. Slip cork or bobber, and Minnows are best for Summer Crappie. Jig and bobber works but no where near as affective in the warmer months. Finding Crappie from the bank in summer is doable if you can cast into deeper water, about 12 to 15+ feet of water over submerged structure.

Hey everyone! Please help me out with the CZcams AI and give this video a đ..... Thank Y'all, tight lines!
Crappie is one of the main fish I've been working on trying to get better at catching. This technique might be what I've been looking for to try out. I tried bobber stops for jig fishing but I realized I was doing it all wrong. Thanks for the video!
Aye bro, I don't have a boat or a kayak. Videos like this, fishing from the bank is really what guys like me look for. PLEASE DO MORE đđœđđœđđœ
Itâs coming!!! Those fish just arenât close to the bank in summer. Low oxygen in shallow water when itâs hot.
Good job man! Great tips
Bank fishing is awesome. I've been getting a bunch of soft bites lately. Those drum get your heart racing. Great Video!!
We need to go hit that pond you fish
Awesome Iâve been doing lots of crappie fishing now every Friday Saturday Iâm dedicated to lake time , thank you for knowledge wisdom and understanding buddy..!!!
Always a pleasure watching your vids. Always have a problem with slip bobbers. Thanks for the advice my friend.
Thanks for watching Mike!
Nice footage
Those drum are good eatin'!
Well at least you were catching Fish
Drums are good eating fish.
At least you are catching fish continually
Yes maâam. I just try to produce well for the channel. I have become spoiled. I try to educate myself nonstop and always put myself in the best position to do well. This is less of that and more just showing up where anyone can go. But youâre right, Iâm still catching.
Awesome. Terry whatâs the best time if the day right now for bank fishing? And what about the bank under a bridge?
Sucks they got our boat ramps closed on that north end. Have you tried lake Bridgeport or Amon carter lake?
Nice video. I subbed
Thank you.
my bobber stopper always slides up n down after some time when casting hitting the guides do you have any suggestions to keep it from sliding?
I use the little black rubber stoppers, they slide up and down the line and make casting quite easy.
We use those as well, but the only place that sells them is bass pro, and I donât live too close to there. So Iâm not driving out to bass pro just to get em. Since I make my own Baits. I can pick up split shots, and minnow hooks at Walmart. So I usually donât have a reason to go to the tackle shop.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas I get mine at Rural King and Walmart. Everybody has a walmart nearby
Nice Catches and I like your Fishing Hat. đ© It looks kinda California Style instead of Texan Style. đ€
Well it's time to start that band you got Drums lol great tips tho brother keep wetting them Hooks
Them drum get on my nerves this time of year. Nice work
I actually caught several more small Croppie, several more drum, and a catfish. Just didnât want to make this video any longer. Kind of filler content.
WE NEED TO GO FISHING SOON BUDDY
Nice! Looks like ray roberts?
Instead of a bobber stop try a clear plastic twist on bobber you can place water in it to add weight the twist on bobber you can change the depth very quickly a lot easier!!!!!
Not sure if a bobber style you are talking about would be best in 13â of water, trying to picture it but it sounds like a fixed bobber. If so couldnât cast it with that much line below
Nice video, where did you get your livescope transducer pole and mounts.
Seelite is the brand.
Full moon
What size of hook you prefer ?
Apparently, Iâve been using improved clinch wrong! I always go through and back through the loop at bottom not at top if that makes since? But from now on will do like yours!
If you go through the loop at the bottom at the end, your tag and will stick out and be pokey, if you go out through the loop at the top, your tag and will be against the line
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Absolutely I get it, great stuff! I Learn everyday.
What type of rod are you using?
Drum is good eating
Hi, can you tell me the name of the hook and the size please? Thank you for the info, greatly appreciated.
yo! i think i know where your at!!!
Would this also work with jigs?
Yes.
Do I need a 9ft crappie rod or can I just use a regular 7ft spinning rod?
Depends on how you are fishing. For what Iâm doing in this video, any Rod length will work fine.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Thank You!!
Where can I get that hat it is awesome
Bass Pro. Itâs a HUK
Rubber bobber stops don't slid on your line like the thread bobber stops do.....once you use the rubber ones, you'll leave the thread ones alone....
True. Availability of the rubber ones is limited so info on thread ones is more valuable to variety of viewer locations. But I agree
Where did you get that hat
Bass Pro in Florida
I like slip bobbers but they need to come out with a more aerodynamic shape that the line does not loop around on the cast from the bank.
Yep, I get tangled up a lot as welll.

What you really need to learn is how to tie a bobber knot.
Those are the worst bobber stoppers, use the plastic(rubber) ones that looks like tiny little football.
I need to get good enough at fishing to be able to complain about catching non target fish
Where are the dawgs? Bunch of little ones.
Next vid, already filmed...editing
@@BarFlyFishingTexas canât wait. Love your videos man.
if it 13 feet deep you should be fishing 11 feet
